How could anyone discount Lille's power? Dude was god-tier. I mean, literally the only thing capable of defeating him was a weapon with the sole purpose of reflecting godlike power. That speaks for itself 😭😭X-Axis alone is such a stupidly overpowered ability to have, but you add his Vollstandig on TOP of that? Yeah gg it's over

I disagree with your reasoning for why you think Gin is irredeemable. There are so many reasons as to why Gin moved the way he did that, saying he is irredeemable because he didn't alert the Soul Society just misses the point. Aizen, a vice captain at the time was able to manipulate the entire Soul Society into banishing several captains and vice captains, the president of kido research and his vice and even a Noble Clan Head. Let that sink in. A nobody with no status beyond the rank of lieutenant was able to use "logic" so effectively that the Soul Society actually banished half their main force and proclaimed them as criminals. At the time, Gin was still just a kid, and it was around that same time that Aizen hurt Rangiku. Gin observed that Aizen was "invisible" to the rest of the world, people treated him like a good guy but he knew his true colours. Now, a 3rd or 4th seated officer trying to out the one guy that people think could never harm a fly, would put a target on his back so the next best option was to get closer to Aizen and allow himself to be used and then betray Aizen when he'd least expect it and expose him. He then witnessed Aizen's genius at being able to remove even the likes of Urahara from the picture. So tell me, if YOU were Gin and you saw what Aizen was capable of first-hand, would you follow through with trying to "expose" him knowing full well whatever you do will be in vain? That whatever evidence you gather, will just appear to others as what Aizen wants them to see? So what's the next logical step to take? - You can't back out now that you know his secrets, he'll kill you. - You can't make any suspicious moves because he will know. This is why Gin put on a playful persona with everyone so that Aizen doesn't catch on when he actually means something he's saying playfully... For example; when he tells Rangiku "I'm sorry". It appears as sadism. - You have no one to turn to, and the reason is Aizen's Shikai... So what do you do? You stick to him long enough just to learn how to forcefully turn it off whenever it's released because you're working under the assumption that Aizen is already onto you and has you under hypnosis. - You then create a back up in case you fail. That being helping Ichigo improve by "fighting" him. Gin is a lonely and honestly, very cloistered character. It may seem like he fits right in, in such a claustrophobic environment but no, it's always been an act. So not only is he redeemable, he is sympathetic and very tragic. He was stuck with the monster that took everything from him, even his true self, in a world where the good guys are stomped on the monsters are rewarded. Also, considering he would have also saved billions of lives had his plan to kill Aizen and retrieve the hogyoku worked, he's at least comparable to Ichibei in that regard. He also looked at the bigger picture, yes he allowed people to die, but the pay off while still morally gray, would've been for the best. The same way you correctly pointed out Tosen's deeper character that gets missed my some fans, you also missed the deeper character of Gin in my opinion.

Honestly, this is one of the most in-depth comments I've ever seen on the channel. I don't even know how to respond to this lol, but I do agree with what you said. I definitely must have missed the deeper meaning behind Gin's character. I agree with everything you said, and I'm glad someone broke it down for me
