100% agree. As with internet never give out ANY information to unexpected incoming emails or phone calls. You don't need to continue the call and just terminate the call. You don't need to engage with the caller.

My new BT digital voice service won’t accept incoming calls. It’s been like it for 3 weeks already since switchover from old landline, and BT complaints say they cant fix it for another 3 weeks, so nearly 6 weeks without a working phone. Absolutely shocking. They deserve a massive fine for leaving their customers without a service for emergencies.

When you look at age verification be mindful of the risks of fraud and identity theft and the subsequent issues with blackmail etc - all are likely to happen if you require a passport or ID or credit card verification to access a porn site. Anything that can identify an individual and their browsing habits can be used against them. Of course none of that makes any difference if the user uses a VPN and doesn't look like they come from the UK. Maybe it would be better to default UK ISP's to block porn AND social media sites (and anything you have to be over 18 for) by default unless the account holder chooses to allow them. Then it becomes 100% parental responsibility.
