I’m 2 years late to this video but I was wondering does your tablet has slight yellow discoloration on the edges of the screen? Mine has it even though it haven’t been a year

I actually no longer own this tablet, but I don't really recall there being color issues. If it is really bad I would recommend getting a new one through the warranty.

@@KarenLucinda I think significant discoloration would be a problem with the singular tablet and not all of the tablets.

@MangaMikeLee Can this art course also be of help for traditional new artists as well? So, I'm not exactly starting at 0 since i use to draw hideous pieces back in art class in HS (i just have absouletly no structure,practice,or full basic knowledge of art theory) I'm now 27 but all i've seen from reviewers is this is worth the value, but what if i decide to follow along with pencil/pen until i feel satisfied in my sketches to where i'm able to buy the desired tablet/ipad to return to complete the related terms. How many terms do you think can i complete/grasp in before investing in one? or would it be wiser to just start drawing digitally without paper knowledge/EXP.
@MangaMikeLee
@MangaMikeLee 2 ай бұрын
Definitely a lot of great questions here. So be sure to look over the list of courses/terms, but I would say you could probably do about 70% of the material without a tablet or screen. There are a lot of courses that are specific to software but the fundamentals can all be done on paper. As far as the amount of terms you can reasonably complete, I would say probably up to about 6-7 with again about 20-30% of the courses not being applicable due to being a traditional artist.

I will say this is probably the weakest part of the program. There are no specific assignments for still life or practicing the fundamentals of value in particular. He does give the theory but the practice is kind of on the person.

I would say nobody need art school or course to be good artis but his art school is helping me a lot and I neve went that much into image manupilation true photoshop etc. only drawing so I learned a lot about manupilation of images true photoshop wille yeah I will problebly not use image manupilation for most of my drawing it can help as just adding small deatials, he covers a lot of stuff which is great for beginers and intimided lerners of digital art. wille some argue he could put more ataonomy etc. his courses is marked as basic to advance basic skill if you looking for atonomy only course there are other that go deeper like proko but yeah mark art school 4 out of 5 must buy if you can, don't starve yourself just to buy a cours.

@@MangaMikeLee the only real complant I have about his program is the photoshop (Only appers in term 1) wille it is usefull if your not most people buy a corse to learn to draw so he would need to put som much into photoshop specely when programs like clip studio don't have enogue resorces to edit photos. I is a nice tuch to get used to tolls in the software that you will use but if you came to learn to draw, photo eddeting is not most importatn but some excersise like maching collor and images whit level, hue, color balanc is nice excersies to get used to difrent collor thones and observing images. To me personely he just spends to much time on photoshop in term 1 it could be cut in 1 week but he did say you could do whatever you want. so yeah my only complaint is photoshop could be cut into 1 week rather then put in 2 weeks.

I am 30 and i have only been drawing for half a year. I am in a race with father time here and he is wining this weather i like it or not and i dont have the luxury to take it slow and be "patiant" with myself. Ps sry for the horrible grammer.
