Was trying to find some video pertaining this. I was walking to my shed and a grey fox made the same noise towards me. Thing is, when I walked away, it walked towards me,and vice versa. Went and got my gun and it had started making its way towards the house. It kept its distance, but I was worried I was going to have to shoot it. Last thing I want is my outside cat getting rabies from a fox. (Yes, I know you are supposed to bring all cats inside, but when I tell you this normally sweet boy gets REALLY feisty about being brought inside, I mean it) But, I need to get his rabies vaccination up to date again, that time of year again. Anyways, I've ranted and I apologize. Just trying to pinpoint whether the fox has rabies or not. But can't tell at night.

Now is when the fox kits are growing up and there can be a lot of vocalizations from the adults. Probably not rabies.

Hey Dan!! What kinda Trailcam are you using!! I'm looking for a good Cam that takes long night videos!! I had an Exodus but it took a crap!!☻
@dannyd318 Жыл бұрын
Hey roadking. This video is from a high end network security camera. Like the kind you would see in an airport. I’ve also found that most trailcams produce poor quality videos. The only advice I can give is typically lower megapixel means better night vision.

The pass 2 days we've had a robin laying eggs without making a nest. The eggs end up rolling off the platform and breaking. Not sure what's up with this weird behavior. 🤔

That's interesting. It reminds me of how coyotes and badgers occasionally hunt and travel together. But I don't think that these two have a mutualistic relationship. I also heard somewhere that foxes sometimes follow badgers to good feeding grounds. Maybe this fox is following the raccoon for the same reason.
@lindavangalder8793 жыл бұрын
He no doubt is only following him bc he knows two heads are better when it comes to finding food!!!

To dannyd318 Hello. Sorry for the sudden email. My name is Kanako Tsuruta. I work for NHK, Japan Broadcasting Corporation. I am the producer of “Narikiri!munyan ikimonogakuen”. I'm contacting you because I would like to use a video "Skunk Date" that you posted on KZbin 10months ago. We are currently making a TV show about animals and going to feature on skunks. Our program focuses on skunk's courtship behavior, but there are no skunks and almost no images in Japan. So I'm in trouble. I'd like to ask you to use your video in our program. If it's okay with you, please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your consideration. BEST REGARDS, Kanako Tsuruta [email protected]

I think he put the egg in the nest it’s just hard to see it because his hand is in the way. The egg probably settled deep in the nest.
