Blue Jay Steals Last Phoebe Egg

May 25th - Blue Jay steals the last Phoebe egg after stealing the Cowbird hatchling from the same nest.
Eastern Phoebe nest with two Brown Headed Cowbird eggs and two eggs of her own so far.
May 5th - First cowbird egg spotted
May 8th - Second cowbird egg
May 9th - First Phoebe egg
May 10th - Second Phoebe egg
May 22nd - First cowbird egg hatches successfully
May 23rd - Second cowbird egg hatches successfully
Around 8am a female cowbird visits the nest and steals the first hatchling while puncturing one of the Phoebe's unhatched eggs. The broken egg was later removed by the Phoebe. One unhatched Phoebe egg and one cowbird hatchling remain.
May 24th - Cowbird lays ANOTHER egg in Phoebe's nest in the early morning.
May 25th - Sad day. A blue jay came by in the afternoon and stole the latest cowbird hatchling. A few hours later another blue jay came and stole the last Phoebe egg. Only one cowbird egg (the one laid yesterday) remains.
May 26th - The Phoebe left the next early in the morning and didn't return. Blue jay removed the last cowbird egg and attempts to destroy the nest.
