I loved the Mildenhall air shows in the late 90’s. I think Kosovo stopped them.

@@PatrickLipsinic AMC units are removing all serials and markings. Some bases in AMC include: McGuire 305AMW Travis 60AMW Fairchild 92ARW Macdill 6RAW McConnell 22ARW McChord 62AW Charleston 437AW Dover 436AW Aircraft from these bases will have markings removed

79-1948 in this video was the very last KC-10 to ever fly; On 26 Sept 2024, 79-1948 flew the last ever flight of the KC-10 from Travis AFB, CA to Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ to be stored there. This final flight officially concluded the KC-10's 44 years of USAF service.

Now I love airplanes and military tech as much as the next guy. But what is it like having a foreign military essentially occupying your homeland? I don’t think I’d like it much. Although, it seems more countries on earth have a US military presence than those that do not. As an American taxpayer, I’d say we have many, many problems at home to deal with. And besides, the UK (not unlike us) just allows unlimited military aged men stream into the country unchecked, so the UK clearly isn’t worried about foreign invasion! It’s all just absurd

There is two locations in this video. The one where most of the video was filmed was ‘the mound’ which you can access by parking somewhere suitable on the industrial estate and walking through the woods a bit. The other location featured right at the end of the video is the nook campsite where you pay £2 per person for the day.

@@roblojerrThe nook campsite has a trailer which you can can use and maybe a set of short stepladder would be helpful here, at the mound obviously use caution where you park your car as it is an industrial park, enjoy your visit

This was happening when there seem to be a possibility of an all out Middle Eastern war there roar of these engines 24 seven kept me awake at night as I’m 13 miles from this American military base
