Thanks for the mention. I am working on the sky of Rural PO this go round. Boring! It’s better than the trees, though! It is such a gorgeous project I know it will be worth it in the end. I really like your temperature chart. You’ve inspired me to look at patterns again and think I’ve found one I will do this year. Have a fun retreat. Pam

Hi again , watch video again and Steph question: like to know how you stitch your X. Full cross, one leg down the row then cross on the way back. And when you make X , top right bottom right ?. Do you use beez wax on thread. That's all.
@JustKeepStitchin7 сағат бұрын
Steph stitches her full crosses with the 1st leg SW to NE, all the way across, then comes back SE to NW. She also railroads both legs. No beeswax.

Your post office project with the cow reminded be of a Smithsonian Magazine story about people mailing their children in the early 1900s. The first known example was of an 8 month old boy who was mailed to his grandparents. He was sent Parcel Post costing his parents 15 cents. They insured him for $50. I am a long time viewer though I’ve never stitched a thing. Thought you’d enjoy this story. Mayme

Great video as always…Mac Attack, WIPs of BS, and a Big Bang Easter Egg at the beginning…that I’m not sure you intended.😊 The Sliver and Gold for this week: Sheldon and Melissa which I took to be Missy, Sheldon’s sister!!!! Stay safe up there in the land of frigid weather! We in VA appreciate your attempt to share and share alike (I had 2” then about 6”), but we need no more this year, thank you very much (she says in her best Steph impression)😊😊

It was banana pants I'm tellin ya! (We got at least 2 inches of snow, maybe 3! lol) Have a fun time at Stitch Away! (Love the nails Steph and Thank you for not letting your mama shovel snow!)

Enjoyed this video a lot! Early in the segment, Pam used an unusual word - driveoverable - when describing the driveway-clearing process. That is a multi-useful word! It can also be applied to efforts to deal with all sorts of problems, in a poetic, metaphorical sort of way...example: "You don't have to Frog it all, just make it driveoverable..." Have fun at Stitchaway!

Side comment on theatre seating: My favorite seats for any broadway tour is as close to the front row of the Mezzanine or Grand Tier Circle as I can get/afford, because if you’re too close or too low, you miss so much of the entirety of what is happening on stage. Stage shows are not intended to be viewed from close up anyway.

Hi lovely gals! ❤️ Hope you have a fantastic time at stitch-away! Glad you kept in warm and cozy with your stitching this last week ❄️❄️ Pam - love your temperature chart!! It motivated me to get it and start. We're in northwestern PA on lake Erie and get lake effect snow and have been in low low temps so I'm excited to see those colors on the chart! Thanks as always for the laughs and inspiration!! 🥰

Thank you so much for the wonderful Sunday evening fun! And your Silver shout out to Sheldon Stitches was Awesome!! I absolutely loved his video and laughed out loud when I saw the Wicked book in the corner of his bookshelf. Great Minds and all. I am wondering if he knows all the words to all the songs. You both have wonderful taste in all you recommend. I hope you enjoy StitchAway! See you in a few weeks.

Just want to thank you two! I usually watch the “Just Keep Stitching” Flosstube on Sunday. But for some reason last night I just went to bed. My daughter delivered my first grandbaby last week. This morning as I was watching my fav flosstubers. I got a call from her. It was decided that she needed to go to ER. I jumped up, dressed and headed her way. On the way, I watched the remainder of your Flosstube and prayed. You two were able to distract at me from the fear of the unknown. I truly think God had a hand in all of this. So thank you for being there for me as well as all of us stitchers. You and your wonderful personalities are a true blessing!

And for the star of the show…. Macaroni 👏👏👏👏. 😂🤣 he is just too adorable. The California fires are very scary for me especially. I was adopted and right before Christmas I found 6 siblings right before Christmas. Talk about a perfect Christmas gift. Any way. My new found brother lives in West Covina CA. They are all safe. But The thought of him being out in the fires terrifies me. After just finding him I would be devastated to loose him again. Enjoy your weekend off next week and always remember to Just Keep Stitching. 😂

I love you two and I hope you have a GREAT Stitchaway experience and nobody puts your hand in a bowl of warm water so you wet yourself (I’m harkening back to the days of Girls Scout camp). I have been a subscriber of just keep stitching since covid . I enjoy the banter the laughter and of course you're beautiful cross stitch work and especially anything wizard of Oz related !
