I absolutely understand keeping these amps original. But to keep them alive we need to change aging components. Is it better to put them on a shelf or let them live on doing what they were designed to do? I know we have choices here. Its a tough one. I appreciate both sides but I choose to keep them going.

I just got one! Help me understand the footswitch. What does the "Channel" switch do? It obviously switches between channels, but which channels? Because you can have both 65/66 and 68/Mod channels on with the channel switch on or off.

Having owned 150 amps (yes, 150, I am mentally ill).....I can say my DVL is the best sounding "Marshall" I've ever owned. At least to my ears anyways. It's simply perfect.

The '68 has just a tab more 'life' to the tone. It has just a tad more 'snottiness' in the top end that I just love. But YES! The AWS speakers are danged nice sounding! I would certainly consider them in the ballpark.

Most people have NO IDEA how much of a difference getting some select old vintage tubes will do to change the sound of an amplifier

If I'm attenuating my plexi down to bedroom volume, should that effect the quality of the signal when I roll back my guitar volume? Will I not be able to get the same sparkly cleans as shown in the video? It seems a little dull when I roll it back with the attenuation or when I go to IR's and headphones or monitors. I'm curious because my new plexi build is like that and I haven't had the opportunity to open it up in a band setting to check out how it cleans up with zero to light attenuation.

These days it's hard to imagine players had a couple or 4 full stacks behind them. I can't believe I played live with a cranked 100 watter. And the club let me.

coooool! Love the IG Greenback - the scumback and ASW sounded like they were the offspring of every Keith Richards riff. Still hard to beat the ORIGINAL GANGSTA 67 Greenie.

We were overwhelmed with orders for the first year or so. So we limited the number available each month. You can place a down payment in our online store now, for either model. New orders will deliver in 2025. Thx!

Amongst all the Synergy Modules, it seems like George's Metro-Plex Module has slipped between cracks (a total sleeper), so to speak. George has Golden Ears, his amps and this module are all the proof one needs!

I'm pretty sure I recall Eddie and others saying, he played through a Fender Bandmaster. On some of the early albums. The EVH rabbit hole continues.

🎉 Congratulations 🎉 You Cloned THE BROWN SOUND AMP. emulation is done by any means, CLONED is done part by part, value by vale untill the sound and response is there. AMAZING I would want a Metoeplex 50 over that plexi because it has more great tones and the 12301 spec. 🤠

I’m not sure which is which, but I prefer whichever amp is on the green light? It’s subtle, but there is more note definition (to my ears).
