How do you continue to take songs I know and like and make them even better? Gary Lightbody is said to have written the song after becoming sober following a binge of white wine. He also said, "It's the purest love song that I've ever written." He compared it to a dog chasing a car, or a man chasing a love interest, and even if you catch what you are chasing, you might not know what to do with it once the person or thing is yours. Maybe the lesson is to only chase the dreams we really want in life, the ones we know will make us the happiest, and to let other cars continue down the road. Keep pursuing your dreams because you are going to amazing places. Everything you want is within your reach.

Taking a look behind the scenes at one of my favorite songs opened a door full of hope, optimism, and wisdom. The song remains applicable to some of the relationships in my life. We accept the love we think we deserve, but also choose the "crazy" we decide to accept. Sometimes, "crazy" is exactly what a person wants or needs. Sometimes, the highs and lows keep things exciting. Sometimes, "crazy" is just your perfect match. It's wonderful to have a song that can speak to all different types of relationships. This video was a fun time capsule, an incredible memory, and a musical inspiration.
