The lyrics stir mixed emotions in me. There's my vision of Heaven and then there are the lyrics to the song. I don't think it's a lie to tell ourselves that our loved ones are in a better place when they leave Earth. I think it's a promise by a higher power that physical and mental suffering end the second we leave. So, even if there are days filled with clouds and rain, even in Heaven, the hope is that we eventually find peace. May your friend rest gently and gracefully. May she always remember the great times you shared together. May you find solace in knowing that not only will you meet again, but she's no longer troubled by earthly problems. There may never be an answer as to why some people have to leave us so young, but if we keep their memory alive, they will never die. May you always feel blessed by the love and support of your friends and loved ones.
