Round 1 was a draw or sliver edge coxe who landed a few more solid, accurate punches . Round 2 was an edge win, 'Probert .

I'm sorry, but the facts you give about that game vs Philadelphia are wrong. I'm an absolut fan of Bird, I must add, and that final play was nothing short but awesome. Anyway, Boston lead the Sixers before that 5th game 3 to 1; so, it was an elimination game only for Philly. Plus, Bird 'just' got 17 points, 5 boards and 5 assists, shooting a poor 6 for 18 FG performance.

Like I’ve been saying before it’s a team effort wen a team wins they all win w n they lose the team loses. The qb has to make the right decision to know who and how much time he needs to kill so he can throw it to the right guy. Yes it’s the coaches that come up with the play design but it takes a qb to run it and the players to execute. Lance had Kyle but didn’t do very well, very well he sucked and I’m glad he didn’t do well cuz who knows wen would we get a chance to see Purdy play and if he never had played who knows if we would’ve gone to the Super Bowl with Lance.

Fact of the matter is, the QB has to make the right reads to put the receivers in the best possible scenario to pick up those YAC’s. He also has to lead them so they catch the ball in stride. Not putting them in vulnerable positions. I’m not saying he’s Brady, but when you’re properly prepared and put the ball on the money, your stats will reflect that.
@InfiniteSports26Ай бұрын
Spot on the preparation to make the right reads. Purdy probably watches lots of film and absorbs info like a beast

I have Marty McSorley at number 7th greatest fighter all time. He was a strong durable fighter who took on a vast number of opponents. He eventually got bigger in weight up to 225 - 230 lbs on the steroids.

Larry Playfair would just hit you once because he knew if he kept throwing them he could really hurt you. The greatest fighter who rarely fought bc no one wanted to be hit by his anvil of a fist. Tiger Williams ever put that in his book.
@buttkick22Ай бұрын
Very true. He was also the only guy jay miller and lyndon byers said they were truly afraid to make mad. When asked about why he never fought playfair clark gillies said “because when playfair was out there you didn’t screw around”. Don cherry is on record saying he would always tell his guys to just stay away him. Do NOT get him going. Just leave him alone.
