The King had to press down CONTROL before double-clicking on the file saved to the desktop, otherwise, Garageband would open again when double-clicking on the saved file.

The ISP noise gates were really ground breaking when they came out. They are an old pedal. Pedal companies have copied the hell out of them with their own variants. The super cheap Chinese pedal you got for free has just copied a schematic . Sometimes you have to pay for innovation… The G String version is a brilliant gate. Used one live for over 10 years. Great pedal

Noise Reduction always seems to suck dynamics and tone. Reduce your pedal board and keep signal path as pure as possible. I’ve had the Boss NF-2 on my Boss board since 1993 and it’s fine. I’ve a few boards but I don’t really use pedals that much now. Tube Screamer is great in the right setting. If you’re into Death Metal and Chunk then it’s not for you.

lol it works great for all my purposes. I think it was 50$ used. These Decimator are also the first Gen, and not like the G string. I mostly play high gain, and I love the ISP. If it doesn’t work for you you’re probably using too much gain. You don’t want a NS-2. The tone suck is real and the ISP is way better. I plan on getting the ISP Decimator tiny version with an actual send and return. It’ll fit my board perfectly.

For the time the Decimator was the best thing to get imo. Especially the g-string II the original was too hard for my taste. But you have to use the effects loop it just sounds better. I love the on knob design, too. But then i sold all my pedals and amp and went 100% kemper for a while, and years late i bought a gate again and then i tried the tc electronics sentry and this is now absolutely perfect and the price is awesome.
