Quite disappointing to see that the so-called best of Europe in the 100 meters could not run under 10 seconds. I wonder if any of these EU sprinters will even feature in the Paris Olympic 100-meter final race against the US, Jamaican and African sprinters.

NED's Tasa Jiya is a very effective W4x1 anchor leg runner, would like to see NED at full strength with Klaver & Seedo in the Team! GBR running 41.91 with that lineup was interesting as they experimented with moving Dina off her usual 3rd leg to 1st leg & 2nd leg regular Imani Lansiquot who skipped Euros was replaced by a returning Desiree Henry 11.36 SB (who's still very much working her way back to her 11.06 PB shape). It suggests that GBR are possibly trying to challenge JAM (given the current issues with the Big 3) by possibly going with Dina ▶ Amy ▶ Imani ▶ Daryll in Paris to try & break the current 41.55 NR by at least 0.2s to move ahead of #3 GDR's 41.37 on the all-time list!
@dya10199213 сағат бұрын
If all GB women are on top form it should be Dina - Imani - Amy - Daryll. Dina best starter and is the only one that can beat melissa jefferson on that first leg, imani normally has a storming backstraight (think she clocked sub 10 in eugene world champs), daryll always brings it home well. It'll just depend on who can run that third leg to a good standard because I genuinely think Dina - Imani could give a lead to third leg over melissa - TT terry

I'm wondering what kind of time Seedo-Bol-Jiya-Klaver or Seedo-Klaver-Visser-Jiya could run ?👀
@AllInTheGame0113 сағат бұрын
@@dya101992 Amy Hunt actually ran one of the quickest 2nd legs @World Relays which makes me think she might start there with Imani on 3rd - if they get it right, they'll destroy the current 41.55 NR!

@@aijntgrkglfnker5131 With Bol improving her indoor 200m PB earlier this yr from 22.87 to 22.64, curious what Seedo ▶ Bol ▶ Klaver ▶ Jiya could run?!

@@AllInTheGame01 surely Amy would be better on the bend as she runs the 200 whereas I can't remember the last time Imani ran a bend?

Why is there so much difference in performance in an European Championship final? Battocletti looked like she could do one more race while others who were much slower collapsed at the finish and couldn't even get up.
