To explain better when shading do not use darker tones of the base color , use different colors , for Red use purple as the shade , for pink use red, for blue also use Violet, for yellow use orange , highlights same thing use pink as light for a base purple ect

Hey I don't know if you still make videos but I would like to get a recomendation on how I'm doing my fc Apart of its story and abilities is using the energy of light and dark gaia and I was thinking on making him have two colors that occupy half and half of his body and where they would collide they shade and shift into the other And the colors I was thinking where two possible ones Purple/Magenta and Green (the colors of the energy of dark and light gaia) Black and white (representing the powers over light and dark) But I don't really know which palete to choose

One of the only videos I can see that gives any input at all on how to do shoulders for mobians (or cartoons in general), something everyone else 'just gets'. My instinct is to add a ribcage, add a box, find the shoulders, etc, but mobians just plain don't have shoulders so my structured approach simply wasn't working and just like connecting lines is not how my mind works.

Thanks for making these videos. Yardley is by far my favorite Sonic artist when it comes to sheer accuracy, but I also like Adam Bryce Thomas's work for the manga-like sense of motion he instills in action panels.

Wow i've been looking for this type a video for a long time! I was wondering if you could make a video about drawing the chest? I've mastered everything because of your video's but the chest just keeps getting to me! I have been focusing on it for a month now but its not working, im sure i'd understand the concept of drawing the proportions of the body correct if you make a video about it!
