Was it *_Boot Looping_* every 3 minuets? I know if some of the microphones Ribbon cables are broken it'll cause the iPhone to *_Boot Loop_* , curious if you were seeing a problem with the flashlight microphone Causing a *_Boot Loop_* , great video by the way.

I used a wood chisel to open mine by gently pushing it into the spaces between the bottom cover and the case.

These chargers are cheap low amp USB chargers and should be fine given they're a 3.7v lithium battery.
