They will normally issue a boarding pass to your final destination at your first check-in, if they don't do that, you will find servicedesk just before the security control. After Security control you just follow the signs to your gate. Look at the big screen monitor when coming up the escalator from the security area.

hello!! im french and im a minor(17). im soon going to take a flight from lyon to osaka but problem is that i have only a 55min stopover at this amsterdam airport. in your video, (2:31), it is written that 16+ people can pass through the automatic passport control. do you think, if, as a minor, i do this passport procedure instead of doing the queue, i will have the time to catch my flight? from other videos that i saw, lyon can lend to AMS via gate B and tokyo (idk about osaka, i just assume osaka is in the same gate as tokyo) in gate F? im really stressed i wont make it, especially for my first time alone in the plane. thank you for your answer it would mean the world to me😭!!

Normally, 55 minutes is enough time to make the transit :) When arriving the passport control, if you are running late, there is a fast track lane for passenger with a short transit. Just look for the ground staff, but they will check your boarding pass to see if you are actually running late :)

Well, they have been very strict about the 90 minutes rule, but you can try :) But with 1 hour and 45 minutes you will have no problem reaching your gate in time, even if you use the normal security control :)

I’m coming from Newcastle with Emirates on the 777, 1.20 min layover then on the A380 to Sydney, crapping myself that I won’t make it😆but this has been a great video and put me at ease a bit seeing the layout of the concourses etc, thanks!

Thanks for the information! Do you know if I can transfer without going through customs and immigration if my flights’ tickets are separated (not-connecting flights)? Note that I don’t have checked baggage to claim upon arrival.

I think so, but I can't give any guarantees :) At the arrival area, when walking towards the security control, after you come down the escalator, you will see a service desk, they might be able to print out boarding pass for you. Many airlines now offer online check in, and issue an electronic boarding pass. To enter the security control for transit in Istanbul you do need a boarding pass. Are you travelling with Turkish on both flights ?

My first international flight, I did it through a discount site. What I discovered is that the small amount of savings wasn't worth losing out on points gained and the ease of checking in through the airline's mobile app. Any of those discount sites are not offering fares below a certain percentage of the fare price offered by the airline itself. The percentage discount is determined by the airline. Some of these sites fail to update their fares in a timely manner. What can happen is you buy a ticket through a discount site at a great price. Without realizing it, you have bought the ticket at a price that is no longer valid. The airline refuses to honor the ticket, and you receive notice from the discount site that your ticket has been cancelled. You are left trying to figure out how to get to your destination, and wondering if you can actually afford the trip after all. So, just buy tickets directly through the airline. Some airlines do offer slightly lower fares on flights searched through their mobile apps.

The only question i have is, do i have an easy transfer connection from Turkish Airlines to Emirates/Qantas or do i need to clear immigration and go back in from there? I spoke with a travel agency and they told me i need to clear the immigration cause Turkish and Emirates are not connected, is that true? I'm planning to book flights to Sydney from Macedonia via Istanbul and Dubai for January but i'd like to make sure everything is okay in the transfers.

I have never done that transit myself, and unfortunately I can't give any clear answer on that one, but in my opinion, I don't think you have to clear immigration, I thought you just proceed to the shuttle bus, and was transported to the Terminal 3, but since I haven't done it myself, im not 100% sure.

😂😂 Thank you, but I have to be honest, it wasn't planned :) The plane was actually delayed out of Oslo, and therefore I missed the connecting flight :) If you by electric mover mean the Buggy, it was at that time about 6 Euro, but I think it has gone up to 7-8 Euro now. They also had some electric scooters placed at the arrival gates, but I haven't had the opportunity to check them out yet, nor the price.

Hi, normally, if no delays, 1 hour is enough, but it can be tight, depending on many things like arrival and departure gate. But remember, you can use the Short Connection, just look for the pink signs saying Short Connection. The Short connection is a Fast track security control that will take you 1 floor down, and you will automatically be at the departure area. If you have bought a travel under 1 ticket, it is the airlines responsibility to get you to your final destination. So if you miss your transit flight, contact the servicecenter and they will book you on the nextt flight. I also have video about that :)

Hi, and thank you :) If no delays, 90 minutes will give you enough time to do a transit. You are also eligible to use the Short Connection, look for the pink signs saying Short Connection. That is a Fast track Security and take you 1 floor down, to the departure area. so basically, if you arrive at gate F7, and use the Short Connection, you will actually find yourself at the departure area of F7 :) So from there you just go to your gate. Once I landed at F7, and my flight was departure from F5, that transit took me only 10 minutes :) But, if you need to go to other concourse, you will have enough time to that :) Have a nice flight, and a great transit at Istanbul Airport :)

There are shuttle bus and trains, and there are signs throughout the airport. Time between terminals are about 10-20 minutes.

Dubai Airport is extremely good with the signs, and they also have a lot of ground staff helping passenger. So just look for the signs, and you will have no problem finding the correct way :) If you not sure, just ask one of the staff you will see throughout the airport.

Normally, if no delays, 1 hour and 5 minutes is enough time. If you use the Short Connection, you can't use the Buggy car, because the Short Connection will take 1 floor down, to the Departure area, and you just walk to your gate. If, you like me, arrive at F16, use the Short Connection that will take you 1 floor down, and you are now automatic at the Gate F16 ready for departure, now, if you your gate for Chicago is at B16, there will be some walking distance. As you walk down the Concurse of F, and reach the end, from there you can start look for the Buggy stations that are located at the start of the Concourse B1, E 1, D 1. You can also check out the IGA PASS, this is the provider of the buggy ride. There are several options to choose from. www.igapass.com/en?locale=en

I'm doing a flight from Billind in Denmark changing here to fly back to Aberdeen in 3 weeks time and from what I've read if you walk slowly the time is 40 mins. I have 45 minutes to get through security and passport control but I'm gonna do whats suggested and if time is tight ask for help at these check points to ensure I reach my gate in time. My guess is they won't sell a flight with a short lay over time if it's impossible to get connecting flight

Dear passengers please keep in mind it is a huge AirPort and most of the times when the plane lands it can take 20 to 40 minutes to park to the gate.1 hour is not enough you can make ıt but ıt wıll be very stressfull do not take chance have minumum 2 hours

@JustinThailand I managed to catch my flight, but i worked hard for that. I was the first passenger to get out of my first flight and walked fast toward the gate of my next flight, arriving even before boarding started. Also, my bags came on the plan with no problem.

Ja, forsinket fra Oslo. Alle flyselskaper har ett ansvar for å ta vare på deg. Men noen ganger har de kanskje ikke servicedesk på den flyplassen du er, da må du ordne dette på egenhand, også sender du inn refusjon. Så når jeg ble tatt hånd om av Turkish, så var det ikke særlig, hverken hotell eller mat. Når jeg mistet forbindelsesflyet i Frankfurt, og SAS ikke har kontor, så ordnet jeg med luksushotell på flyplassen, og spiste en nydelig middag på SAS` regning :)

Beautiful scenery, spectacular. Music is absolutely horrendous and unnecessary, but of course, it can be muted. Sound of the wind would be much better, just IMO. Camera handling a bit above average, too short shots, too shaky. If you watch this one Dream Lines IV - Wingsuit proximity by Ludovic Woerth & Jokke Sommer it is, IMO, much better. Pretty OK overall.
