Im flying international (actually first flight ever anywhere) for the first time and so scared, im going to Philippines from us, will land in qatar , and will have only 1.5 hours to get to gate. Well, Doha is easy, and if no delays or other problems, 1 hour should definitely be enough time. Doha and Qatar Airways is the preferred airport for my wife when travelling to Norway, because it's so easy to navigate :)

Yes, the train takes you through the C terminal. Its not that long, so you can easily walk the distance.

Hi, i was flying with Qatar Airways from Oslo to Bangkok via Doha. If you buy your travel under 1 ticket, you don't have to collect your baggage and check in again. Yes, you can leave the airport, but you need to check visa requirements.

An easy airport to do transit. Follow the signs, check the screens for your next flight, and follow the sign to your gate. This is the airport my wife use, because transit is so easy here :)

Well, that is the funny thing about Hamad Airport. On my travels coming from Oslo going to Bangkok, I have to do a security check in Hamad, but...... when coming from Bangkok going to Oslo, I don't have to do a security check :) I have no idea about the reason for this.

@@mtf4031 Yes :) If no delays or other problems, 1 hour will be enough. If you running late, just tell the ground staff, and they will let you pass the queue, but they will normally check your boarding pass to see how much time you have left.

It's a great service, they have 2 levels of service so the price varies. The highest service gets you into a lounge and that's worth paying for if you're not flying business class.

If you have your travel in one ticket, they will normally check in your luggage to your final destination. Then you don't need to collect your luggage when doing transit.

Do you need to go to a transfer desk ? Normally they will issue boarding card to your final destination. The only document I have been showing, is sometimes the boarding card for going through the securitycontrol.

If you have boardingpass for your final destination, you dont have to go to any transferdesk. You just go through securitycontrol and then to your gate. At the gate thay might check your passport and might ask if you have any visa, but that never happend to me.

😂😂😂 Yes, that will be enough :) You might wanna consider using a lounge, but the lounges is often very full in Hamad. But, there are plenty of seating area and restaurant throughout the airport :)

Why ? I have no idea. On all my trips arriving Doha from Bangkok, we never have to go through the security control, but arriving Doha from Europe we always have to go through the security control. And I have no idea why. When doing a transit in Doha, you normally don't go through the immigration.
