might work for certain situations... truth is, max doenst have a tool for the so called "decals".... basically we just need the ability to paint something, no matter what, on a already tilled texture. My solution, well, I create 8k maps for details i need, with diffuse rought, normal etc, and i just blend the shader with those maps on top of the tilled texture, with the alpha of corse. theres no other permanent solution to paint precision maps on top of tiles. or you can extract bits of geometry where you want the detail and alpha them...
@oliveiraluis35406 жыл бұрын
there's vertex mapping of corse... but, on a poly budget, if you have a lot of specific details not shure if its reliable.

#ClintDiClementi - Can you please tell me how to bake in corona using 3ds max. Everytime i bake in corona 1.4 the light pass comes black. Only beauty, diffuse and ao pass comes fine. Everything else is black. Please Help

Thanks for the great tutorial. I have some flat color materials and I'm simply trying to add AO to the diffuse but rendering Complete Map is not rendering AO, only the flat color. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Great tutorial. I'm such a noob, my sky kept not showing up, but it was because I was in orthographic view instead of perspective the whole time. I couldn't see my sky, just the ground color.

Thanks to the comment below (from Agent Carbunkle) the totally dark render issue I had disappeared after turning off the exposure control (Under Rendering>ExposureControl uncheck Active). This detail definitely helps newbies like me :). Tutorials are awesome, keep up the great work :)
