Very interesting I might give it a go. I really enjoyed the mobile game, I don't' remember the name but, it was a survival craft kind of game. I wish it was on PC because it was pretty fun. I phone couldn't handle long game play sessions.

I had a different experience, I was constantly in a state of no or near no ammo while it threw bits it had clearly decided would not be stealth at me with enemies that did stupid damage and I seem to remember dickhead restart point placement but that could be me already being annoyed.

Oh dear 😬 I can see how that can happen...I did have some annoying moments with stealth that made me restart the same thing about 5 times 🤣 I thought it was just my lack of skills!

Almost missed this video completely lass! Looked simple but fun to be fair. Those brave screaming QTE one shot guys are heroes haha, an that line after the lass falls to her death...yikes.😅🎮💥🍀

Wait, this was made by Grin?! I could have sworn it was Tigon! It's kind of hard to believe Grin made this and * shudders * Bionic Commando back-to-back. So, fun fact: the comic was basically Mark Millar's hot take on the villains of the DC Universe with Wesley bearing an uncanny resemblance to Eminem, weirdly enough. I would not recommend reading the comics, though, as we discussed on Twitter. Also, nice final a$$ shot.

Unpopular option: A Colossal Problem. The wedigo spawn adds drop like 10 screws each Also don't forget to loot Hot Plates Most of what I need now is lead and gunpowder

I hate wendigos so much in 76 😆 they're probably the scariest things to come across, so it's good they drop useful junk! Am on the hunt for lead myself, so I'll share what I come across 😁

If you don't feel like dealing with Earle... Go to Abandoned Bog Town, go to the roof of the 3 story building by the workshop, drop down the elevator shaft to the hidden 3rd floor, loot all the globes, typewriters and fans. Depending on what has spawned you are looking at 20-30 screws after scrapping. If it's empty someone else got there before you. Escape through the hole in the floor back to the 2nd floor. While you are there, grab the 11 bags of concrete. Then exit through the hole in the wall again like you are going back to the roof but instead go up to the roof of the building next door, drop through the hole in the roof and loot the 8 bags of fertilizer.

Best place to get screws. Earle - the Colossal Problem event. Earle spawns tons of Wendigos in the mine, tag them no matter your level and when the event ends, you'll collect tons of screws off the bodies. So always join that public event. Even if your low level, things scale :) Great video - JunkYd69 on PC. Enjoy the wasteland!

This is the first time I've heard the term Skinner box! Would loot boxes be considered in this? I never feel satisfied when I pay for a perk to help in games, infact I hate when I do it

Ya loot boxes are the worst kind of Skinner Box...I feel the same tho, when I spend real money on something digital it doesn't give me a dopamine hit! Same goes for when I buy collectors editions of games...offering me cosmetic items and charging me more doesn't entice me! 😆

Excellent stuff. I used to play "Hayday" on the iPad but refused to spend money on it. Also it wasn't a game as much as a waiting around simulator. So I stopped. I found myself actually addicted to the browser game Fallen London. It's actually GOOD, with a rich world to explore. But I was planning my day around when my "candles" (the action timers) would reset so as to maximise my choices. So I had to stop.

I actually just had a student write multiple papers on Hayday! It's fascinating because it chases that Skinner box loop, but also needs to maintain a balance between keeping what brought players in and updating to try to entice new players, because money. I got the same way with WoW back in the day as you did with Fallen London - I had to stop because my undergrad grades were being affected...

Okay, so, looking at the game in context, not just relative to the prior games, but also when it came out, I do wonder if the... Umm... Half-hearted end-product was a result of Interplay and Black Isle just pushing it out the door before they lost the IP to Bethesda. Considering Fallout 3 came out in 2007, and considering Bethesda's notorious development times, it seems entirely possible, doesn't it?

Reminds me of 360/PS3 game I played where you only could die if the character you protected died that alone made it a pain to play but you had to to a QTE like these with no fails or it resets to beat a boss. Then right at the Final boss it does this throws one up that faster than rest miss it and yoiu instanty die and have to re do fight that takes 10 mins again yeah I never beat it and it was on easy.

Very fair review. It's OK to play, but not great. The bartender in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance was also hotter. I remember not liking the lack of karma, and you could just be horrible with no consequences. I did complete it though, back in the day.
