Question! Does it pay well? I wanna be a vet but my parents dont support it cuz my parents said it doesent make good money

my nine month old kitten got diagnoised with FIP around a month ago , we didnt know what was wrong with him and we took him to multiple hospitals one finally said that it might be FIP so we tried everything, didnt work then he started having sezuires and we thought he wasnt gonna make it, but thankfully my parents did lots of research and found a group of people who helps us find FIP medicine near us, so that night, my parents drove two hours to san diego to give him a shot, now he has to take a shot everyday for around 80 days

I want to become a veterinarian but I'm afraid of snakes and birds, would it be possible to be a vet?

are all vets trained to do surgery? Or is there a specific vet that specializes in it?

Thank you for the great video!! My cat passed away a few weeks ago with suspected FIP. Now my other cat is suspected to have FIP too, she is eating and no problem but she started to have eplipsey a few months ago randomly. I tried to get FIP treatment, and did go to FIP warriors but they directed me to a EU link to buy those drugs I have not heard of... any suggestions please?

I'm studying dvm but not doing too well... Hope this helps me in my studies

Honestly it shouldn't be this way that you don't have time to see your friends...The health system is absolutely crazy for people I see that it's the same in veterinary😮 All the best to you❤

Ive been doing vet school. I was expecting a lot of stressful situations with animals and saving them. I got quite a shock when i realized i had to develop people skills. This is bad for me because i hate people.

my cat died suddenly 1 month after the fluid in abdomen showed up she was really happy and ate a lot the day before she died i thought she was getting better but the next day she was also fine then she collapsed suddenly and threw up a little bit of white foam her body temperature was really low and she couldn’t move the vets never gave me proper diagnosis they said it could be this it could be that so i never got medication i regret it so much and i haven’t stopped crying since she died im very suicidal my girl was barely 3 years old

please do more videos like these!!! they are so helpful and give me hope that being a vet is the right decision if you love science and helping animals.

You keep saying throughout the video that FIV+ cats should ideally live in single cat homes, but wouldn't it also be ok to have multiple FIV+ cats?

So , after i complete my BVSc i want to have some work experience abroad .. so is there any internship programs available there ? ...( Any 6 month to 1yr program)... I really want to get some experience abroad .. I know many people clear navle and go for work after bvsc .. But i dont want to work abroad i just want to join some internship program if any ..? I am so happy you enjoy being a GP! I am starting my first year as a GP in July and I cannot wait. Many people become boarded and I feel like it's easy to diminish your value when you're "only" a GP, but it's such a rewarding career and we should be proud of it
