Hallo! Hab eine „normalen“ 80 gb Hifidelio und hab eine 256 gb ssd eingebaut! Wird erkannt und das OS ist drauf! Es werden aber nur 80gb erkannt! Was kann i ch machen? Danke im Voraus!

Hallo! Der "normale" (nicht-PRO) Hifidelio hat eine Begrenzung auf 80GB. Wäre es die Pro-Version, hättest du die vollen 256 GB zur Verfügung. Es soll eine Möglichkeit geben, einen Nicht-Pro in einen Pro umzuwandeln, aber ich kenne sie nicht.

@@christianstahl9415 Sollte theoretisch gehen. Musst dann halt auf jeden Fall die Partition vergrößern, damit du auch wirklich die vollen 256gb hast. Hab's selbst bisher immer nur "frisch" installiert.

Hallo danke für das sehr kompetente Video! Das Problem der Bootsperre besteht leider! Habe festgestellt dass nicht alle Versionen von Hdreset funktionieren.... meine von damals User "Bergi" geht nicht mehr kann ich von Dir eine funktionsfähige Version erhalten? Zum Einrichten einer SSD: Die Firmware geht bis 1000Gb (dauert ca 2Std) ich habe danach unter Linux meine 2Tb die Partition vergrössert geht bedtens. Gruß Winfried

Könntest du mir die genaue Bezeichnung für deinen Adapter auf Sata SSD teilen? Mit dem, den ich habe und einer sandisk 250gb ssd konnte ich zwar mit der service cd das OS schreiben, aber booten möchte er nicht von der ssd.

Das Problem, das du beschreibst, liegt mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht am Adapter. Hast du einen "normalen" Hifidelio oder die Pro-Variante?

Hi, I hope you are still looking at your KZbin message alerts. I just had a POE injector go out on me and it was relatively new. I had recently replaced the original POE injector that came with wife EAP. You mentioned that if a short circuit occurs the POE cannot adjust the voltage fast enough. What could cause a short circuit and would you know how to isolate something like that and if a POE is killed due to a short circuit, can it be repaired?

Wouldn't it be worth it to test relay before going through all this pain? Continuity or resistance.... Thanks. MY relay click but no sound with various sources.. Did yours click before this repair?

The relays always click, even if they are bad. The part, that goes bad, is the contact surfaces inside. You can try hitting the relays with a blunt object to see, if they then make proper contact. But to be able to measure them, you also have to completely disassemble the whole unit. This is not a guarantees fix. This is mainly an instruction on how go swap the relays. I have seen it fix the issue multiple times, but I have also seen multiple units, that were not fixed by this. It's up to you in the end.

Hallo! Das Video ist zwar schon älter, aber ich habe es gerade erst gefunden. Sehr kompetentes Teardown, klasse! Mir wurde ganz warm ums Herz, denn ich habe damals daran mitgearbeitet, allerdings als Software-Entwickler. Ich kann daher nicht viel zur Hardware sagen. ABER: Für alle, die das noch lesen, ein heißer Tipp: Kurzer Druck auf den Ein/Aus-Schalter schaltet das Gerät in Standby, LANGER DRUCK (>5s) SCHALTET ES KOMPLETT AUS! Mein eigenes Gerät (inkl. Original-Platte und Switch!) funktioniert noch tadellos, weil ich es fast immer komplett ausschalte, und es daher nicht so degeneriert.. Ich hatte in der ganzen Zeit nur einmal das Problem, dass er nicht mehr funktionierte. Stellte sich heraus, das Debug-Log war noch an und hatte über die Jahrzehnte die Platte vollgeschrieben...

I have an old G610 with a similar/same volume wheel. The keyboard is maybe 7 years old, or something like that, so I can't complain too much about the basic keyboard function life. About a year ago I had a few problems with keytops popping off periodically, but they always snap back in place. Then, a few months ago, I started to use the keyboard volume control wheel. It didn't last long, before I had the same erratic behavior problems that you showed. Your video was very useful to me, because it confirmed the nature of the problem, and the fact that they are difficult to take apart and fix. Seriously, unless you are just tinkering and having fun taking that keyboard apart, why would you go through all that trouble to fix it if it's only going to last a few months? I'm exploring these stand-alone USB volume control knobs for about $35 on Amazon. The other option seems to be to buy a small keyboard speaker box (that stands under the monitor) with a built in volume control knob on the side. Another option is to remap a couple of the function keys for volume up/down capability, using the keyboard driver, but it takes a lot of key punches to adjust the volume, so it is not as nice as the keyboard wheel. So, in summary, thank you for all the time you spent putting that video together, I learned a lot! (i.e., don't buy a Logitech keyboard if you intend to use the volume control wheel - but the basic keyboard function is very solid.)

As I wrote in my answer to your other comment, the 820 does NOT have an integrated GPU. So if your machine does not have a GPU installed in the MXM slot, you cannot use that one, since you will have no GPU at all then.

Well, if you still have a short, you have at least something to investigate further ;) And BTW: That SMPS is 10+ years old, so a really modern was is even more complex. And in my experience, it's always the PFC circuit that dies, since it is the first thing that gets hit by any surge coming from the mains.

My wheel actually broke. :/ The custumer support sucks sooo much. I just want a replacement and i am willing to pay for it. Btw i am German and i wasn't impressed with this keyboard from the get go. I should have returned it when i could but hindsight is 20 20.

Yep. Logitech was the best company for peripherals a long time ago, but they really went down ... even their new wireless presenters suck. My G15 + G5 are still going strong.

Is there an external video graphics card that will plug into the onboard video card plug that you pointed out next to the wifi card? Or will a laptop card fit in there looks like the slot is the same?

As you can see in my video, there is an external video card plugged into that slot. If your machine does not have one installed, I am not sure, that any card you put in there will be recognized. If you have a card installed, you can change it. The Slot is called MXM. However, every MXM card can be different in terms of size, layout (cooler-position) and power consumption. You can try putting another card in that slot, but it might just not work.

@@TheSkoto1 As for the MXM Slot I can not give you further advice, since I did not play around with that. I do not know, if the slot can be used at all, if there was no card installed from the factory, nor do I know, which cards can work in that slot. All I can tell you is, that my machine had a NVIDIA GeForce G210M installed. As for the CPU: Some CPUs come with integrated Graphics and some don't. If you don't have a dedicated card installed in the MXM slot, you need to choose a CPU with integrated graphics. For example the 820 and 720QM do not have a graphics card. I have added that information to the video description.

If a 820qm does not fit in your machine, then you have a different machine than I talk about in this video. If you can tell me the model of you old CPU, I can recommend some replacements.

Hallo NebukadV, vielen Dank für das tolle Video. Bei meinem Hifidelio war die Festplatte kaputt. Jetzt habe ich sie durch eine SSD Festplatte getauscht. Leider wird die Platte nicht erkannt, ich bräuchte also die Daten der "HD-Reset" CD. Wie kann ich Dich erreichen bzw. wie könnte ich die Daten dieser CD über das Internet von Dir erhalten? Wie du mich erreichst, das findest du unter einem der älteren Kommentare hier unten heraus ;) Aber ich muss dich vorwarnen: Wenn es kein Hifidelio PRO ist, sind die Chancen groß, dass es mit einer SSD nicht ohne weiteres klappen wird.

@@rhein-sondler No, I cannot, since I did not concern myself with the GPU at all. However, here are some hints for your research: Try to find a GPU with the same interface ( MXM 3.0 TypeA) and similar power requirements as the one installed. For example the GeForce GT 230M would work most likely.
