red fires suck out the 1.77 it’s 4 or 5 grains more than just a normal crossman pellet and the trajectory is trash but with a crossman pellet it’s good i don’t understand

Hello, I bought a Gamo Big Cat Hunter Air rifle. Cal 4,5 aka .177, 305m/s or 1000ft/s. Brand new, never been fired. Do i need to clean the barrel, some say yes due to anti rust greaser that is put into, others say no. I have read the user manual and it does not say anything about cleaning it brand new. Can you give me a peace of your mind? Thank you guys

Shame mine keeps damaging the pellets whilst cocking the barrel to load the pellets.

Why is this rifle seemingly impossible to find anywhere?

From watching The Airgun Detective on youtube, they use the same power plant, but the gamo magnum produces more power than the swarm version. He didn't understand it either. After all these years, that rifle is still going strong and still hits with authority!!

When did they start using the color coded rubber gaskets in the recoil pad.? I have a black one so it must be from before they started the system.

I like the rail system, but it allows no adjustments for eye relief. And that right there makes it useless to me. I expected better than that from Gamo 👎

I like my whisper but it is not noticeably quieter than most of my other break barrels. I got mine mainly for the 10 round mag which I’ve come to appreciate. I have 5 mags so generally I won’t even touch a pellet for a quick plinking session. I also like how the safety is in the trigger guard and very easy to use, so I never hesitate to use it. Great overall gun for the price. I plan on making a custom wood stock for mine. Definitely a decent shtf rifle for survival mode

I need a more basic video where I can see what screws you remove. 8 from the top? What about the 6 screws on the side? Scope doesn’t stay in place before I tighten screws.

Gamo markets their airguns as if no one has their own chronographs....FPS sells initially but B.S. also is a major turn off and is a good way to not get return buyers. Good luck having Gamo send you a replacement air piston or any other part that will be needed after it goes bad.

I am now a proud owner of a Gamo Swarm Whisper 10x .22 hunting platform. I zeroed in penny tight shot groups and got 3rd shot group all in 10 point bullseye on 8" target at 20 yds. Very happy with it. And yes I'm using the scope that came with it. Works fine for me!

I have the Gen 3 in .177 and with PBA the pellets are up around 1250+ fps and they are not really quiet because they do go supersonic. With subsonic they are noticeably quieter without the "crack". With 5.1 gr Blue Flame, it sends them downrange at 1261 fps and has a muzzle energy of 18.01 fl/lbs

Gamo build quality is absolutely disgraceful. Screws fall out all over the rifle AND scope!

Any idea to smoothen the Reload barrel for Gen3i magnum? Just got it today.. Does it really take 2 hands to reload? any tips to get the barrel smoother reload?

Maybe you can offer me some advice. I just bought a Gamo Swarm DX. Basically it's the gen II version of the Swarm Viper gen 3i. Right out of the box, the supplied scope is unusable. Everything you're viewing is blurry. I replaced it with a CVLife 3-9x40. I've been trying to get it sighted in starting at 20-25 yards. I'm using a bench and a rest, shots are hitting all over the place, including totally off the 12x12 target. I've tried adjusting for windage and elevation a couple times but it's hard to tell which way to adjust cause of the shots hitting all over the place. If I can't even get a group of some kind... how do I adjust for that. I had to move in to 10yrds to get anything resembling a group. Got a 2" group of 3 shots. By the time I get to this point I'd used up a tin of 100 pellets. I'm about ready to throw it in the garbage and just put the scope on my .22lr.

Where does the gamo lazer go around the scope?

How about showing a close up of the mag - which side you have up while loading, which direction the pellet goes in, etc.

What grain are you using? Also, what type of pellet? 177
