I use heavy duty 3m Velcro by the roll for all my batteries. All my rigs have the soft side on their sliders, every battery has the rough side on the bottom and they’ve never fell out. You should try it

I use the snap lock 3m Velcro. Just don't have sliders so it's a tiny piece lol. Need to design a mount. Appreciate the feedback though and for checking out the channel 🤘

What do you have inside those tires? Are they not vented?? Maybe softer springs?
@Krazy4KVs
@Krazy4KVs 17 күн бұрын
2 stage foams. They are vented. I don't want the spring rate to be any less. I think I just need to play with shock length/ positioning before spring rates. It definitely isn't "dialed"

I think it's pretty tough to compare tires before break in, but you did the best you could. I appreciate the video. I just got a set of azteks, but haven't run them yet. One thing I like to do with Proline, is buy predator for the front for grip, and g8 for the back for stability and push.
@Krazy4KVs

It is tough for sure. I'll be continuing to run them and see what I think! That's not a bad idea to run different compounds!

Thank You! I've been looking at these for weeks.. Exocage put out a review also. I think they are going to be a good tire. They need to be tested on ramps and lines with the same variables. Broken in also. Tires tests are tough.. it take so much time.
@Krazy4KVs
@Krazy4KVs Ай бұрын
Yeah I just don't have any interest in creating ramps or anything like that. Won't make a habit out of testing tires. I just wanted to make sure they could do some basic lines while proving they are doable.

I have an ascent but like what Mr.C from crawler canyon says,the less redcat in an ascent the better it is. I put a gold Amazon $30 3gear dig box in my ascent. It also has 18%treal overdrive and soa with 4 link front,brass portal covers.i fliped the rear shocks so that the shock body weight would be unsprung and so that it would not leak

the Aztecs probably have belting and ribbing and a thick carcass which makes them not conform as well. The injora comp pins can’t be beat for the money. The s5 xhx pins have like 15% to 20% more forward drive than the s4 comp pins. but the S5’s get greasy above 85*F like predator compound does

Less of a test and more of a first impression. Tire tests are naturally unscientific. I wish I had the time, resources, and money to have lab-like conditions but it's just not feasible but I tried to eliminate many of the variables I could control (wheels, foams, truck, etc). I DO need to get some dang sidewalk chalk so I can mark my gates 🤦‍♂️ Appreciate ya watching!
