H10 Optic Upgraded with the "Basics" - New Shoes, Servo, Powerplant

Before we give the Optic a true identity (or just make it better at being what it is), I wanted to see A) how easy it was to work on it B) How it did with some of the most common upgrades we will do to it.

Thank you very much... have been debating on getting a second Fusion pro for my H10. Just put one in my CEN F450 and love it! Probably ordering tomorrow as I already have the cage off, painting the interior and driver!!! 👍

Glad ur back man. I put 1.9 swampers on mine and liked em so much the cut n shut krawlers haven’t made it on yet! All assembled sitting there waiting too so… swampers much exceeded my expectations

Oh geesh I got my optic weight the other day, it almost burned to the ground! Only thing left if the ESC was the heat sink

Unless I zoned out I didn't see or hear a size comparison on those new tires. They seemed to be larger and seemed to compensate well for the long wheelbase, minimizing and "belly scrub" or getting hung up. I noticed a few instances in the video where it looked like it was close to scraping, but didn't. very cool. I'd love to get one, but, just can't justify it right now... Keep up the good work.

That's my bad. Don't have the exact mm handy but they are 2.2" wheels with wdw cut n' shut bfg krawlers ~5.25" Thanks for the kind words!

In the ad description for the motor it claims "the motor is extremely silent when it is running. The driving noise which annoys the driver disappears" but I'm hearing a lot of noise in your test run. Is that transmission noise? Why does it have an oscillating on/off noise when it runs at medium speed? Is that normal for this car? Thinking about getting the kit and purchasing my own electronics, wheels and tires but not sure what's best for off-road and on-road performance.

You can so dlux scx10ii heavy brass knuckles on the front, i saw someone else install 'em on h10.

@@Krazy4KVs sorry I was referring to the 12mm wheel hex. I'm running stock wheel and need at least an 11mm length hex to clear the ar44 brass knuckles.

Oh gotcha. I have slw hubs and I believe I had to run the 475s to clear the knuckles. They are really heavy for what you pay
