That's really disappointing. I bought to MovMax blade cause it looked awesome and it was jittery and awful so sent it back. The Tilta Hydra looks so fine, and now I learn it sucks at the most important job! Do these companies that spend the big bucks on development ever bother to check if they actually do the job? Anyway, back to my not-so-pretty old faithful 4th axis that leaves these guys in the leaves 😤

It's called the micro pro from scotty makes stuff. I saw this roller video last year and got it from his review. It works for rollers and walking footage, doesn't look so cool as the hydra, but it gets the job done. I'll grab the link for you.

Now with the new "DJI Mini Mic" available for sale, the mini mics are literally HALF the size of the DJI Mic2, microphone and the audio is still amazing! I just put my order into today for the Mini Mic kit. It's also substantially cheaper than a DJI Mic2 kit. Brilliant!
@aerialphoto
@aerialphoto 2 ай бұрын
@@seanb1081 indeed. I also have a set and am testing to compare the capability of the mic 2 32bit float vs the automatic limiting of the mini. Auto limiting could be a game changer or a flop. Motovlogging is one of the more demanding uses and if the mini can’t properly adjust, then the mic 2 will still be the top mic for my uses.

@aerialphoto
@aerialphoto 3 ай бұрын
I just had the transmitted and I had the gain set to -5. Since then they updated the firmware so you might need to experiment between -10-2 gain to see what works best for you. Every persons placement will develop different noises so it will have to be adjusted accordingly.

Do you think all-wheel drive helps save fuel or vice versa?
@aerialphoto
@aerialphoto 4 ай бұрын
I feel it helps the mpg because you have both front and rear motors to regen the battery and the rear wheels only engage a little at take off or during wheel slip. 95% of the time it's just the front wheels in use on flat florida lands.

@@aerialphoto This really seems to be true. I watched the video again. When braking, the electric motor acts as an alternator. And logically, two alternators charge the battery more efficiently than one.

Honestly seeing the last slides, it doesn't convince me that Theta Z1 is so much better. I had Z1 for a while then it doesn't take photos anymore, and their support in USA stinks. You pretty much have to pay new price to repair it while they most of the time just send you a new one. Insta is a lot more reasonable and the scans are close enough. Let's face it, neither takes that great of photos, they both get horrible color cast without AI functions of fixing white balance from daylight to incandescent / warm LED 2700K lights.
