@@YeOldOak Thanks. i have a tiger xc 800 my 2012. Great bike. Stupid question: do you think that Tiger 800 is faster than gs 1200? A little bit? a lot? or is slower?
@YeOldOak6 жыл бұрын
@@Okke-j2n depends on what model/year of GS and rider I guess, the 2012 tiger is down on power and torque to similar aged GS's, I guess then it comes down to the rider. It really doesn't matter at the end of the day for me, just enjoy the bike!

+nightelbs Thanks, we went at the end of June 2013, it was definitely the best time to do this, maybe because it was before the school holidays.

A stupid question...you prefer tiger or gs....??
@YeOldOak10 жыл бұрын
That's a tough question! The GS is far more comfortable and larger capacity is better for the long-runs in the saddle. The Tiger is lighter and better (me personally) off-road with a great engine/gearbox combo.

Did you have abs on your tiger 800? 'cause looking the brakes seems no. But in italy the tiger 800xc WITHOUT ABS HAVE ONLY WITHE FRAME. I'M CURIOS BECAUSE YOU ARE WITHUOT ABS, BUT YOUR FRAME IS BLACK.

First off, thank you for making such a beautiful and surreal video. The beauty is awe-inspiring and I must say the editing is superb. The background score couldn't have been better and since I'm a biker myself (from India), its such a pleasure to see the journeys and experiences of other bikers around the world. Somewhere, some things, bind us, even if we don't know each other. Its the things we all appreciate and the things we seek. More such experiences and well wishes to you brother.

How's the 21" front wheel for touring when you've got all the luggage and things on the bike? Looking at making one of these my next bike for just that purpose with a little off pavement mixed in.
@YeOldOak10 жыл бұрын
Well balanced really, a little lighter perhaps but nothing out of the ordinary.

im looking for new bike and really like tiger 800/800xc How would this bike cope with 2 people on it on long European journeys?
@YeOldOak10 жыл бұрын
Not having done that with two people I wouldn't know but I'd imagine would be fine as long as the seats were replaced or made more comfy.

Bought it on ebay from a company based in Latvia (maxmoto), it's bolted to the stock screen, it was cheap, works really well and better than a taller more expensive one, tried all sorts of options and this did it for me.

Stunning scenery sir, and looks like a trip I should seriously consider! Just a couple of questions if you don't mind. 1. What kind of mpg did you get from the tiger? I know triumph claims 75.3mpg @ 56mph and 74.3mpg at 75mph. 2. If you had stayed 100% on tarmac do you think the standard tiger (non xc) would have been more suited? Thanks
@pipnmaz11 жыл бұрын
Stunning scenery I would love to ride that road. Also great to see you doing it on a tiger.
