Notice, he said as a wife is married to her husband, she is bound to him, but if her husband dies, she is free to marry another, so, as we were once bound to the law, we were to do what the law said. But as we are reborn in christ, we die to the law. So turning from sin, and obeying these laws is no longer our bandage. We have become a new creature. No longer bound to the law, but now bound to christ. Obeying the law does not save. Nor does turning from sin. Not that we shouldn't do those things. But they do not save. We are saved by faith in christ alone, and no other.

I am a sinner, who death chose, yet Jesus showed me mercy, love and salvation. Please lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath have mercy on me Lord for I am faint, heal me Lord for my bones are agony my soul is in deep anguish. Praise the Lord amen

I try to keep it simple If I wake God wants me to love my brothers and sisters and show them God loves them through me and if I don't awake I go home so no matter what it's a good day in the lord. To bring heaven to earth and not to be a lover of this world can be a lonely place especially without God. Have a blessed day brothers and sisters 🙏

In 1962 when I was in my ninth year I thought the world would end in about a fortnight. I saw the famous william holman hunt print on the wall at my school of Jesus holding a lantern and tapping on the door of our hearts, and it gave me strength. It referred to Revelation 3:20. I still think of it often and wonder how difficult it will be to keep that strength still - now that the end of my days is coming. Maybe it will actually become easier; I certainly hope so. May the Lord God have mercy on us. Amen.

Romans 6 comes before Romans 7. Romans 6 states that you died with Christ on the Cross. If you die to sin by faith in what Romans 6 says, you are raised into newness of life. You die to the Law and to sin so that you can be joined to Christ Jesus. If you are alive to sin, it is because you are under the Law, but you cannot get power over sin, by being under the Law. You can just know what sin is. But if you successfully reckon, by faith, that the sum total of the old you has been crucified with Christ, then you can put on the new you which is being joined to Christ Jesus and be one Spirit with the Lord. If you never grasp Romans 6, you will always misunderstand Romans 7 (probably as an excuse for sin). I spend a lot of time in Romans 6. You can only understand water baptism correctly through Romans Chapter 6. Take time in Romans Chapter 6. Then you will understand Paul's statement: "I have been crucified with Christ."
