I like how you did some thing that a lot of people including A1Up don't like making the borders above and below the marquee black. I've done this on my cabinets myself and I think it makes a nice difference! I actually also like the choice of bat tops for these because they are 90's arcades so I think those are more era appropriate TBH!

The control panes on these looks a lot better than the ones Arcade1Up made! The first and fourth player controls still aren't angled exactly like the original but this is still miles better! Great detailing too.

I have to say, I’m not a big fan of how Arcade1Up handled the rollout of these machines. The price felt a bit steep, and the quality didn’t quite hit the mark I was hoping for. That said, the Killer Instinct Pro is still my favorite form factor-they really nailed the full arcade machine vibe. I just wish they had kept this level of design consistency across all their models and focused more on enhancing the sound quality. It’s frustrating that this is the only machine that has audio glitches when you try to hook up external speakers, making it impossible to add extra bass. I especially love the coin-up door buttons that actually work to select player one and two; it’s a great touch that adds to the authentic feel. The overall size is impressive compared to real arcade cabinets without the excessive weight. Despite its flaws, it’s still the one I enjoy the most.

Fairly new to this channel but this kind of stuff is what inspires me to continue working on my original arcade cabinet designs for my favorite rhythm games. I need to get off my butt and finish that beatmania machine I’ve held off for months now hahaha

Now THIS is how it’s done! Wonder how much 1up would have to charge for this high quality to turn a profit. Guess it would have to be like $1,500 as KI pro is 1k and it is of lower quality than your awesome homemade cabs.
