Salve. Come vedo, è adatto a chi sa usare solo grigri? Grazie

@snekos39872 жыл бұрын

@jorg664910 жыл бұрын
@noobhunter30002 жыл бұрын

I love my alpine up! ! It's great for project climbing a route. Gri gri's are nice but this is awesome it does take a bit to get use to as far as the locking position (lead climbing) but I love it. And it looks cool
@1walhai11 жыл бұрын
Achtung Fehler!

Is it possible to self belay on ClickUp?
@dkopara11 жыл бұрын
I have this device and it's great, it is the most versatile device I've ever seen! The only downside I could find is that you can't really use the click-up mode when top roping, cause it clicks up all the time if you wanna have someone tight (beginner), and it makes pulling in the rope much harder if you don't have a really thin rope so you have to use the dynamic mode for that. That means that you can't really give it to two beginners to belay each other while top roping like you can with a grigri. That being said, I don't like the grigri cause I think it teaches people lousy technique and not to pay enough attention to the climber. People that get use to it find it difficult to switch to a belay plate (ATC), like dynaimic mode on this device cause they don't really know what they are doing no matter how good of a (sport) climber they are...

I bought this device earlier this year and love it. It does has more options and I can be carried away but I think it is the best hardware I seen so far...
@nderezic11 жыл бұрын
Every few years a device like this is put to the market, but it never seems to be a big hit. I remember the TRE Sirius. It had most of the features of this device. However it never caught on. Maybe people prefer simpler devices, which are not so complicated to use. I like both my ATC Guide and my Petzl Reverso very much-they are both small, versatile and simple to use. I don't like using my friends TRE because every time I need to think what is the right way to use it.
@FMaz11 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm not sure, it seem the exact same than an ATC, but I think it lock the rope when there is a fall... so I **think** that if you would not hold the rope, it would be locked more than with an ATC. (no need to comment on someone not holding a rope, I know). Now, I really don't like the manipulation that has to be done to "unclick"/unlock the rope. Looks tricky and requiring too much dexterity. I love my $30 ATC.
@ts-mk11 жыл бұрын
The difference is the locking feature. It locks automatically provided that you hold the dead end of the rope. The clicking sound is produced by the carabiner when sliding from the non-locked position to the locked position.

What's the difference between this and the ATC? Does this lock automatically or is the forward clicking just supposed to remind you to put the rope in the brake position?
@dmp0513 жыл бұрын
When taking in slack, shouldn't she be securing the rope with her non-brake hand?
