Manipulation can sound like: "It wasn’t my fault." Instead of accepting blame, manipulators might lie about or downplay their role in a conflict. This might make you feel sympathetic. "That’s not true." People with ASPD often lie to get what they want. "I’ve never met someone as kind as you." Flattery is used to get your support, and later, favors. "At least you don’t have it as bad as me." People might use this phrase to invalidate your feelings so you can focus on them instead. "Just kidding!" Some people use sarcasm to hide mean remarks. "You're so sensitive." People with ASPD might say this to make you feel like you're overreacting to something hurtful they've said or done. "I did it for you." This pins the blame on you, not the speaker. "If you really loved me, you would do this." Manipulators might take advantage of your feelings to get their way. "If you break up with me, I’ll kill myself." Manipulators use threats to force you to do what they want. "You’re imagining things." This form of manipulation is called gaslighting. It makes you doubt yourself and your sanity.

These are some common signs of ASPD: Lack of empathy for others Impulsive behavior Attempting to control others with threats or aggression Using intelligence, charm, or charisma to manipulate others Not learning from mistakes or punishment Lying for personal gain Showing a tendency toward physical violence and fights Generally superficial relationships Sometimes, stealing or committing other crimes Threatening suicide to manipulate without the intention of actually doing it Abusing drugs or alcohol Trouble with responsibilities such as a job, paying bills, etc.

You described my situation perfectly. Add to that that I was beaten daily for the slightest things. I was beaten so bad I still got the marks of the extention cords on my back. Have had very low self esteem most of my life.

Thanks for making this video. Female with a narcissist mother here. I got into a relationship with a narcissist about 8 years ago and still in, I would say he and I are pretty enmeshed and at this point it's too late to exit the relationship. It's so depressing to know my life has been a waste of time, beliefs established in me due to the company of unhealthy/mentally sick family members and continually attracting those same types of bad people into my life. A depressing vicious cycle. I do feel like God hates me now for wasting my life and my potential as well. As a younger person I had these lofty aspirations of being an artist. I think that I'm too damaged to make anything of myself at this point though. I'm 40, my life has passed me by, the rest of it will be working until I'm dead.

It’s not very intelligent to re stud your tires. The tire studs are sticking out too far. The holes in the tires are wore out for holding the stud. You’re gonna be throwing studs out at cars behind you.

I was a little concerned about your new studs being longer than the ones that came out but after thinking it over I went that way too. I pulled one of my old ones out so that I could measure what was in there and ordered new ones and went with a little longer stud like you did. The stud that I pulled out looked a little short for the hole so I went with the next size up. They stick up a little bit but work great. I spent a little extra dough and bought some more expensive ones made in Australia. I think that they will wear a little better which means lasting longer. I appreciate this video and your technique for taking them out and putting them back in. This worked perfectly! I used a spray bottle with water and some dish soap as that is a little more slippery than windex which also worked great. Thanks for the video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I was hoping for a video on resetting so I don't have to buy new springs after they sag rather than this. This not really a solution. The question is really, can springs be stretched back to original tension in a safe sensible way?

You can also use these as spring compressors by flipping the metal pieces.

My mother was a Narcissus and I ended up marrying a woman close to her but not as bad. She ended up cheating on me and turned our son against my family and eventually me. My son at 37 years old left me out of his wedding but included his ex-stepfather plus his mother and her new husband. Craziest thing I have ever witnessed or been involved in. Guy hasn't talked to me in 5 years and I have 2 grandsons whom I will never know. He married a multimillionaires daughter and he was not working at the time, had gotten fired from his previous position. You can't make this crap up!

Thank you for sharing your story. Your surviving and thriving is an inspiration. I was raised in a cult of Narcissists, Mother, Father, Older Brother and all extended male family members. My covert narcissist mother sexually exploited me to her pedofile father and brothers and spent the rest of my life annihilating me for the guilt she felt. My father has untreated PTSD from Vietnam and is an angry, bigot recluse, whom can’t stand the sight of me (I am neither heterosexual nor conservative) and my existence fills him with rage. Inevitably, I married a narcissist, whom used me up and dropped me when they found new supply. Recovering from narcissistic abuse has been a massive part of my life, but it can be done! Much love and strength in your healing journeys.

Hello John! I had this verse revealed to me in a dream. I was dealing with a narcissist (my sons father) and this is an incredible video! The narcissist definitely has moments where they reveal themselves. I saw a blackness in the eyes from time to time. Just curious if anyone else had this experience? Again, this video is incredibly wise.

Yes, I have as well. If you pay attention to the darkness of their eyes…it deepens in its blackness when they either feel, think, know, or believe they have damaged or hurt you. It basically expands in a hyper-focused excitement like a cat’s iris when it pounces a toy or stalks a mouse. This is the best giveaway for a demon possessed individual. *Matthew 6:22-23* _“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”_
