For construction adhesive, generally it's better to do big blobs every 8-10". Doing that thin squiggly bead you sometimes don't get good purchase. Also, when gluing miters you can use a screw driver or wood wedge to force the points of the miter together. Run it down one side then the other.

Looks like you really hate your sister having shins! I had a bed like this for 2 years and had to get rid of it because I was completely destroying my legs bumping into sharp corners at least once a month!

This is so awsome, not just for your baby but that you two get away after working so hard. You will never regret the time you've spent making her life wonderful. We had to put ours down in 2019 and it still hurts. God bless you all 🐾🐾💜🪻🩷🌷💛🌻

Amazon has some linen- look curtains. They are really popular among designers that, 1, want to get the “look” on a budget and 2, DIY-ers. You might want to have a look at them. So many people love them!!

I'm going to assume that the caulking didn't end there, and you did every seam on the window and framing. Which is very satisfying to see. I live in an old farmhouse where they did not caulk anywhere, and we put like 3 cases of caulk into this house, and I still find spots we missed lol.

Should have padded up the sill to eliminate the gap so your stool would sit higher. Also may want to use a better filler

can we stop expecting everyone on the internet to be perfect? this is an honest man trying to get something done my himself, instead of paying people to do it for him. That's respectable. Whether he did a good job or not, you can let him know and give advice if you have any, but a comment like this is just useless.

I guess you won’t be needing that big furniture put in that room anymore. We can’t get it twisted through the door anymore, if only this closet didn’t exist.
