Sorry for the Franken-comment 2 years later. I finally played through this game. Really good quality review! I especially appreciate that you admit to getting the key from the devs. I'm assuming the confusion on how the game works is based on devs telling you what to expect in the future of the game. Fully understand why you'd call it quits over 4 hours of gameplay but I know you haven't seen it all because it should be...8-12 hours to finish? (Hard to say 'cause I had to restart the entire game due to a game-breaking bug and I could've potentially alt-tabbed out and left the game running for an hour or two total time?) If you did finish it I'd love to hear your opinions on it. I'm debating on if I want to go back and restart it because I had yet another thing the game didn't explain ruin my entire game and I didn't know until the end. Wow. I had no idea you couldn't report the pirate guy. I was playing rebellious so I didn't even grab the data disk. Guess that's another thing they goofed and never fixed. *Spoilers ahead:* If you don't want even mild spoilers then just stop reading here but I'll clarify a bit of your confusion. * The up-facing chevrons are supposed to warn that "something is coming up ahead". You don't move the taxi upward. There's no explanation of this in the game (like many things) since they abandoned the game and never bothered clarifying this along with all the stuff you add to the taxi. * Your conversation choices don't build the world. I've never seen a change in the world based on my choices. Just news feeds and one ending evaluates all the choices you've made (or so it says). Honestly I don't think it does. I did a full playthrough playing rebellious and then did the govt ending and they said I did a good job after analyzing me. * There are more controls added to the taxi but you probably know that since Steam says you have 4 hours total playtime. It initially seems like interesting choices but you eventually just get all of them and you're just choosing which order you unlock them in. * You don't move into a new house. Each area just unlocks with license levels. Extra frustrating is there's an ending that lets you choose to move into a new house or take the rocket everyone's been talking about (Ensaladus or whatever). There is ZERO content on this. They abandoned it. It's so f'ing frustrating. I really loved this game until I got to the end and saw how unfinished it was and how depressingly empty the endings are. (Though I also was already a "meh" review status because of the optimization issues you mention and issues with bugs.)

I love premium bowling but I'm hope to see new bowling alleys been added sometime.

Just got a Quest for Christmas and the tutorial server has been full for days, can't get to it. This video was a great help, at least i can see what i was supposed to do, lol! Thank you, by far the best video out there for the walkthrough!

This is a great game. I've been playing with teams or friend or on my own for months and slowly finding and upgrading cool weapons. Very satisfying and though I've done some of the levels hundreds of times it's still not boring. As for Demeo - I played it a few times but I've not gotten hooked on that yet.

You don't lose your weapons anymore on Nightmare or Horror. But they are pretty difficult! You probably want upgraded Auto-shotgun and LMG or Revolver before trying them, and two or more friends because the AI's become almost useless on higher levels.

The developers fix the glitch on Nightmare. You don't lose your guns anymore if you lose the level.

Right off the bat, being teleported to the middle sucks. Should be the same as totf and you walk in toward each other and know where you are, (you'd both have to layout the same size area)

Labyrinth was a bit of a letdown for scenery. Like they just used the name as a tease. Atlantis, which just came out, was a homerun for scenery.

I'd have to give up on the ring protectors and finger straps I have on them currently to use these. After whacking the controllers into the wall a couple times I got the ring protectors and the finger straps hold the controllers in your hands much better. Do these seem to offer the same collision protection and hand stability? Also, I saw the ProVolver ProTubeVR that adds haptic feedback for every shot fired (but still $300 a piece, Ugh!). That would be a big improvement.
