What? The boss was visible for me once we stepped on all of the eye platforms around him, then he became visible for us. He also glitched a bit and sometimes I could see and attack him but damage wouldn't register until he was visible. We thought the bosses were the hydras and after beating all three two came back with as much health and berserk, then we tried to all step on the eye platforms and the boss was visible. We didn't win because we were already weakened from 3 hydras and two berserk ones. You also can't make the boss (high priest umbal) visible if you put turrets or healing wards or any other deployable or pet on the eye platforms, it has to be a player standing on each one. This level was hard but only for the reason that it was confusing, the hydra seemed like the boss as it was the piece you see when you select its campaign in quickplay. The eye platforms were never explained except a weird ghost showed up on a platform without an eye and pointed to one of the platforms. The level had no explanation and I was confused. That is aggravating but now that I know that I can use the eye platforms or even just attack umbal before he's visible I should be able to go in and win this campaign.

Confirmed. Same happened for me last night when playing. There are a bunch of trigger plates around the map, with 4 players, 4 titles were lit up with an `I` icon. Once we all were on the plates together, it revealed the bosses location and kept it revealed for the remainder of the battle.

I had a hard time my first too we had also gotten distracted by the hydras and not quite figuring out the boss But I like the subversion it makes this boss fight different from run in and kill the biggest thing in the room It added a layer of puzzle solving and thinking But once you know the trick through practice can be made quick

There’s an invisible boss 😎 with 150 hp and he can make copies of himself , focus on the elven spirit who points at the lit up tile and it will reveal him or use blind fire from ranged attacks to find what tile he’s on

Somehow we found the final boss without him being visible we kept attacking him until everyone was on a button and once he was visible he had 92/150 hp so you can hit him while he’s invisible

We found a way to fine the Serpent Lord when he is invisible without using any cards or stepping on the eyes. Use the blue pointer that comes off your hands and search around the map in each square. You will see that the pointer will shorten up as if it was touching a monster. It usually takes us 2 full rounds until it works to find him like that, but it does work. Once he takes his turn while invisible you have to look around with the pointer again and you will find him in the new spot he moved to. Keep hitting him until he gets to half-life and he will become visible.

That's a great suggestion that's pretty close to how I found him and killed him. Works well enough too. Maybe better than spreading your party out overly thin too. Thanks!

Some other tips, dont use overcharge when wet because you will get stunned and it will not be overcharged, the hydra tail when hit stuns the 3 heads, sand piles can have golden scarabs that can be held until the 2nd floor to trade with an npc for each member to get a card, and spacing is pretty good for the last boss unless you have a water bottle because at a certain distance you will still only have 1 turn but will not attempt to attack allies

In a game last night Cana was at level II then died, and respawned after 3 turns (not 2) and she was down to level I. So I don't know if that was a glitch but is not the same as what is described in this video.

@@VenturePopTV Hi...thanks for the response. In the next game I played Cana did keep her level when she died... so I'm guessing it was a glitch. But what I haven't figured out yet is how to determine when she attacks once or twice. There is a mechanic at work that I haven't deciphered yet. Thanks again!! Have a good one!

You are very welcome! Cana has 2 action points. She will only hit twice if it's oanas last action point commanding cana to hit an enemy. Essentially she saves her last action point till oana uses her last action point. It just looks like hitting twice because oanas turn is "over" and she spends both action points. If you use masters call with oana for action point 1. Cana will only hit once. If you then use astral strike with oana with action point 2. Cana will move and attack a marked target after oanas spell finishes to use her second action point. It was confusing but assume Cana has 2 action points and refuses to use the second till oanas uses her second. Hope that helps!

You are playing the last level wrong. You need to have each person find and stand on the Eyes once that happens all the bad guys die except the hydra and you are left to fight the boss. He becomes visible, multiplies and shuffles so you have to track his movement like a shell game. So best to have 3 portals to move your guys to the corners to find the eyes. as well as making yourself invulnerable until everyone has found an eye.

Yeah this was my first run and first fight with the boss. Can't believe I won though. Great they made it a puzzle fight tho! Was a ton of fight. Too bad I'm terrible at games lol

@@VenturePopTV Venture, my understanding is there should be exactly ONE exposure Tile.... one I Tile.... per character being played. So in a 3 character party, all three members of the party have to be standing on the three I Tiles simultaneously and then he is exposed. Is that not correct?

I think it is. I think the logistics of moving 4 characters around the map to stand on tiles could be a tad difficult, especially with all the corruption. In the end, just guessing and dumping good damage abilities on the tile where I thought he was worked. But from what people are saying you COULD do that. I am sure it should work like that.

@@VenturePopTV yeah we had a 4 party but only found 3 tiles. Thought 1 was hidden under the corruption or something so cleared the entire mab of all crystals and stuff. Still nothing dunow how we didn't bump into the invisi guy. Dose anything happen when you kill a hydra? Dose it just doe or dose it respawn. Like a hydra :P

Someone mentioned if you hit the hydra tail it stuns the 3 heads. I'm not sure about killing it though.

I gotta say that was some rude false advertisement. I was pretty pissed spending that much time while arguing with the wife only to die at the hands of an invisible boss I didn’t even know was there because my guys were completely drained battling 2 rounds with the serpents. Also, Pretty freaking tired of my own guys turning on each other. Gonna be a few weeks before I have the energy and the time to go through that again.

Yeah I loaded up so much in single player I didnt want to lose. I spent everything trying to figure out level 3. I barely made it. Single player with 4 characters. Feel your pain.
