Lovely takes all around. I share the sentiment that although I'm sad about what we missed, I feel very amazed by what we got and never got the impression of the show feeling overly "rushed" Also, love to see you giving a shoutout to Owl House content creators! Glad you shouted out Liz, too. I'm currently one of the people working on upcoming episodes of The Owl House Revived, so I love to see more people made aware of Liz's channel and that series.

In Australia before season 3 it was hard to watch episodes when they first aired due to not having cable and it took a long time for episodes to come to Disney plus In Australia so by the time it comes here we are all ready spoiled about it.

Holy shit I did not know that, damn Disney really did everything they could to fuck this show over huh

you should make more owl house videos. I don't know if i sound rude but you should tell your shenanigans that happened between seasons or post timeskip. ANd, you explain amazing!! Keep going!

the owl house deserved a full 3rd season,yes the show cheated death,but it deserved so much better not disney cancled it for shitty reasons and shortening the season,that didn't just piss off us fans,it pissed off dana as well,even after the first special aired disney like oh shit we made a mistake cancling the show

Amphibia cheated death too. Do you remember what happened to Marcy Wu and Anne Boonchuy? "They both died fighting The Core's Calamity Power. It was all over the news." - Sandman, Spider-Man: No Way Home

you made me cry... the happiest of tears. to see that this show is still being enjoyed a year after its end, and to know it will be remembered fondly for what we got instead of tragically for what could have been. it makes me feel bittersweet, though looking back on the Owl House makes me hopeful for what the future could bring.

I still get catharsis when the first special for season 3 was released and there was news about Disney realising how popular Owl House was in a way that implied that they originally didn’t realise just how popular the show actually was It felt like Disney finally realised that cancelling the Owl House was a bad idea only after it was too late, thus Disney has to suffer the loss of content they themselves cut off, like watching someone cutting off their own foot only to realise that they need both feet to stand

I mean, i get the point of art is made by its constrains, but not sure if that means it is good that capitalism and some bigotry are good constrains, or that it was good that it was canceled, i know its not exactly the mesage and its about being positive, but still
@UnholyBasil4 күн бұрын
No absolutely, the reasons behind what happened are not good, but the actual way things turned out made the show what it is today, y'know? Not like I'd want it to happen again, I just think it's worth talking about from that angle.

Owl House may be over...but its legacy continues to thrive through fan creations, songs and reactions from new fans. Heck, reports have been shown that Disney FINALLY caught on to just how popular the show is via online viewership

The comics you showed are drawn by moringmark, not by theowlhouse.comics, whoever that might be. Video was good though, seems like you're just as autistic (positive) about this show as I am.

A friend of mine jokingly told me “There is a video essay out there for any topic that is even remotely interesting.” He wasn’t kidding. I just spent 38 minutes genuinely interested in how food is used as a subtle writing tool in Invincible, and I walked away from it having learned valuable things about writing. … now I’m gonna go watch the followup video about Season 2.

Miles’ father in earth 42 will lead Miles to seek guidance in any father figure. you mentioned not wanting to get any answers but that has to be it. the first two films was Miles guiding himself while getting advice from everyone. he wants to do his own thing, but earth 42 Miles will be the epitome of Doing His Own Thing.

Oh poor Debbie, well at least she raised a good son...which makes you wonder what was the difference between our Debbie and all of the other Debbie's in other dimensions?? So many others joined up with Nolan- was our Debbie stronger, less heroworshippy?? And we've never met her parents, Mark's grandparents- are they in the comics?? And love this little series btw, food in film is always important, symbolic- the restaurant scene in "Reservoir Dogs" is full of bonding and peacocking and posturing and hard funny truths, the spaghetti in Lady&TheTramp will always be the eptipme of romance lol, the meals in Tarantino's "Inglorious Bastards" are all fraught with tension and falling oranges will always ALWAYS remind me of death...and now I'm hungry😂😂
