Woah, this channel is going places, as someone who was there a year ago, I see the signs. I'd love to see a followup on this video discussing Peridot though, since Aces tend to be erased in queer spaces, and Peridot's journey to understand Garnet and fusion does a very good job reinforcing the importance in reading the body language of your partners, and helping them set and establish boundaries when they are uncomfortable.

Absolutely fantastic video. Life is messy and kids/everyone should be able to prepare themselves for that mess. I’ve been used by people I thought loved me and I myself have been the user. I was young at the time and entirely unaware of what I was doing, but I still did bad things and knowing what I did still eats me up. Kids/Everyone should understand these adult topics sooner rather than later so that less people end up hurt in the world. Sorry for the page of text, and again fantastic video

Considering that this is an hour long video I wanted to share my thoughts on Steven Universe. I was a little kid when Steven Universe came out, and similar to as what you mentioned in the video I wasn't too aware of themes of the series nor all of their moral representation. When I was younger I stopped watching the show consistently and only tooned in on occasion. About around 4 years ago I decided to pick it back up again around the Pink Diamond reveal, then choose to rewatch the series from the start all the way to it's finale, the movie, and it's successor series. Steven Universe is one of my favorite Cartoons of all time; It's world, the characters, the themes, the morals, and so much more. It always shocks me to see the amount of restrictions people want to put on TV or books, when it's worlds like Steven Universe that teach us proper morals. Fusion to me was the representation of a person's relationships with another. How too much of a good thing can be bad and vice versa, how Garnet had unhealthy relationships with Pearl or Amethyst because of power or Amethyst using her shapeshifting to transform into Rose to taunt Greg. The gems aren't perfect people, we know this and the story shows how bad their behaviors can be and the type of hurt those behaviors can inflict. Thank You for making this video, it's the first video I've seen on your channel but I appreciate you talking about this series and your own thoughts on it.
