I mean “hamstring tightness” sounds like they were just being cautious so it wouldn’t get worse. I’m unathletic in my mid 30s and I can get over tight hamstrings in about 30 minutes max for my purposes. Obviously professional baseball is different here but I’d expect a couple days’ rest and a couple follow-ups to make sure it’s okay before he’s back. Could be wrong of course but he didn’t seem seriously hurt there - you just don’t want a key starter going down cuz he/you wanted him to “tough it out.” I’d say the same for a contusion. Those things just suck to play through and need time to heal.

Damn, based loaded for the Guards in the top of 10th and can only score 1. Sigh. Better pitching performance on the mound by Cleveland SP Triston McKenzie last night, last through 7, the only hiccup, giving up the lone dinger. Kudos to Guards 1B Josh Naylor as he continues to improve, defensively Go Guards!!!

Both JRAM and Naylor are tied with 24 RBI's on the team, which is the most. The tied for fourth and fifth, respectively in RBI's in the American League. I'm not too worried. JRam's lower BA is offset by his production.
