I am going to the home opener! This was a great opening day for the Guardians! I only watched the first 5 innings live and then the next morning I finished the game! The Guardians looked very strong in this game and really attacked at the plate! Bieber was just unstoppable on the mound. I feel good about the Guardians starting off the 2024 season 1-0! I wish the Guardians the best of luck this season! And go go Guardians!

FWIW, does anyone else besides me think that to play outfield with a big wall behind you is more difficult than it looks? Going back on a fly ball with a 4 to 5 ft fence behind you is manageable, but heck that ball that Jose smacked for a triple would have been caught had that wall not been there. Besides all the other changes to MLB, playing against walls has really changed the game. I of course know it's the same for both sides, but how many runs per year are added to the average score in baseball games played against a wall? Thanks Guardians for posting these highlights, as a senior on a very low fixed income cannot afford cable to watch these games as they happen. Bieber appeared dominant for game 1, and slapping balls all over the place to bring in runs, maybe this team instead of "Billy" ball can play "Stevie" ball!??
