I do not have the option of "Version History" I only have the options to "open" or "share".

Was hopeful this would work, but the INDIRECT for the second column doesn't seem to work. I'm wondering if its because I'm in Office 365 or something. Just cannot get it to want to read the adjacent cell, it only ever reads one cell in particular.

So where you're splitting it "horizontally" your splitting it vertically. Do you have a way to spit it horizontally?

@Spreadsheeto IS there a way to freeze more than one area vertically? I want to be able to scroll two sections at a time to view and input data on-screen from multiple places without making it a separate window. That doesn't help.

Does this work the same if the data is in a table and when new rows get added?

I have two drop downs that cooresond to a table. Tax filing status and state reference a table tht lists the individual states in colum B, the income ranges for single in column E and income ranges for married in column H. then the income range needs to reference the earned income greater or less than a specific income to assign the correct tax rate percentage. (Might be best if I do a screen share)

This is not working for me. Each time I try to do the Data Validation for the =INDIRECT($E2) I get an error. I have also tried this with Xlookup which I was able to get that to work, but it would not carry down the column.

I have been using INDEX MATCH all my life, but this is the most clear and understandable explaination I have encountered so far. Thanks.
