@@Spreadsheeto well, I'm not actually getting the embedding to open when I send the excel sheet to someone else. Do the files have to be on a shared drive for someone else to open the embedded pdf?

Is it possible to add in a link to a file (picture/PDF/Email/etc) from a SharePoint, by looking up a value in an Excel cell. I am currently trying to link invoices copies based on an invoice number - thanks

this method wont work if I protect my file. if I leave it out of protection anyone can delete it. is there any other way or maybe a way to protect my file while object link still work?

No, when I embed pdf files in excel workbook and the. Send via outlook it shows error of cannot start the source application for this object. Please help me .
