For virtual desktop, do I need to get it on like the base headset or do I go through the pc meta software and buy it from there?

Sorry for the late response hope you figured it out on your own. You have to purchase virtual desktop on the headset store. Not the PC app.

I do not own a Pico headset so I can not give you a definitive answer but perhaps make sure your app is updated. But as I said I have no clue.

I heard about the SteamLink Beta + SteamVR Beta, where you can use handtracking as well, it just came out like today Source is from : r/OculusQuest

Unfortunately this seems to only be a feature through steam link and virtual desktop. I know the meta link app on PC had hand tracking as a beta feature but it is no longer an option in settings.

Unfortunately no. I have been searching around and it would appear there is no way when playing wired as of currently.

I did not have to adjust it and yes I was able to see my hands.

The github page has been updated. Anything that says (DEPRECATED) are not yet compatible with the latest lethal company update.

I have a pico 4 headset, do you know which controls would be the best suited for that?

I am not sure what controls would best work for the pico 4 so you could try each profile and see if any of them work but first I recommend just trying the default one and see if it works without changes.
