I liked this part: "Someone who is very good at manifestation is probably embodying a certain set of qualities with great consistency in their lives (e.g states of... calm.. focus.. relaxation.. courage.. abundance)" Manifestation = Tapping into desired state -> dwelling in feeling of wish fulfilled -> action which flows effortlessly from state Pure awareness (a.k.a. 'I am') + Assumed state = Manifestation Techniques like affirmations and visualizations allow us to move between chosen states Very interesting framework!

Yeah having a vision, even intrinsic, doesn't magically bypass disabilities. Even attention and mindfulness doesn't help.

btw, i still can not see how I hold on and resist . It is a work in progress. Im going to try some of your techniques!!
@overcome_yourself453 ай бұрын
Resistance manifests as tension in the body and thoughts in the mind. Whenever you feel uneasy, ask yourself: where do I feel tension in my body? What thoughts are running in my mind? The mind bit is very tricky because we slip into the old thought patterns very very easily and it takes a lot of conscious effort in the beginning.

i have been practicing for many years now. Lately, I am disgusted at the human race...the ego, being lied to all of my life, it gets too much. This disgust lead me to seeing exactly what egos do ! Literal insanity! I am having trouble being so disgusted, even tho I know we cant heal what we dont see! I am exactly 💯 so happy you brought up Michael Singer. I study his teachings daily. appreciate your video!
@overcome_yourself453 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I have struggled with the way of the world a lot myself in the past, but all we can do is recognize our locus of control and keep practicing. I keep going back to Michael Singer's work (both the untethered soul and living untethered) and that helps a lot.

Thank you! And you are correct, he had to overcome a whole host of issues. But his approach to resilience is to just keep pushing, which I personally found very hard to sustain.

Someone beat me to first comment!! This is so wholesome and sincere. It really can be hard to make friends as an adult, especially in a big city where you didn't grow up (or even if you did grow up there). Thanks for sharing your story! Looking forward to seeing more :)
