noob question by me , but the green hatch , would they have intake temp issues , or is it negated by no hood and short race times. Just Curious and new to the scene :)

Yup you're right. What could also aid in lowering IATs would be the type of fuel they're using E85, M1, Nitro etc. However, at the same time that exhaust will aid with radiating heat but the no hood in that case should keep it to a minimal considering short race times & nothing in the way of it escaping.

does it not make sense for fwd street racing vehicles with turbos to have boost by gear? it seems like these damn fwd turbos be making 30psi right from launch and it has them spinning in 5th, that crx wouldve dogged the j if it wasnt for the dude spinning like hes at some burnout competition

I’m pretty positive it’s actually a stock block b16, they just don’t run it long enough to get it too hot. Been seeing a lot of set ups with no cooling system these days 👌
