I love how Benny is taking the entire lead due to Bjorn's cold. you can actually hear Bjorn cut out after the first 2 words of the lyric with benny taking over. And his vocal inflections at 0:54 are so good. Idk why Benny was always so negative about his voice!

I was at the Melbourne performance, twice, I still have the vinyl album and program .. and still, to this day, Trevor White's moving rendition of this heart-rending portrayal of Jesus' agony stirs my soul. No other artist worldwide, and I've heard them all, can match the power and emotion of his performance .. truly memorable .. amazing talent❤❤

I was there in 1977, sitting outside the fence that surrounded the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on that beautiful autumn Melbourne evening, along with half of Melbourne. Couldn’t see a thing, but the sound was absolutely superb. Thank you for the music!

After all the years of hearing Frida was the dancer of the girls, this is the FIRST time I've ever seen Frida out shine Agnetha in dance. Frida showed clear signs of rhythm I've never before witnessed as she normally looks like she doing something overcomplicated to an entirely different song and about to fall over. :06 had me laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair - poor Anna - but Frida was working the upper body movement. Much applause! I wish I had been there to see this on my 8th birthday, but it would be a few more years before I was introduced to the band.

I see no proof that that is ABBA. You cannot see their faces, th y NEVER danced that much ir that way and it actuallly doesn't look like them. Plus, that is not their kind of music. I do not believe that this was ABBA. Nothing on stage says that and thise were not even their types of costumes. Those were the body suit like a bathing suit.... The ladies from ABBA didnt were out fits of that style.
@ABBARoxAus11 ай бұрын
Sorry but you are totally wrong. This is from the 1977 Tour - which many of us saw - and yes, these outfits and this routine was a part of that. Obviously you know very little about ABBA and the tours. Parts of this are even shown in ABBA The Movie. This is a leotard worn under other costumes but then stripped back for this 'Girl With The Golden Hair' routine. Check your facts - pretty easy to find online.
@markshade839811 ай бұрын
@@ABBARoxAus so I did find that photo and you are correct. But part of my point stands - across all of their photos, videos, costumes etc - this costumes are mostly only shown in that same photo. They rarely wore anything that did not have at least a miniskirt portion to it, as opposed to the leotard. And of all the video of them dancing, that is perhaps the only time they did such a lengthy, elaborate, very active dance. Most of their dances were short, minimal and rarely that physically active. I have watched a ton of their videos and other concerts. My point is that that dance and costume is very out of context for the abundance of the video of their live or recorded performances.
@ABBARoxAus11 ай бұрын
@@markshade8398 Actually, your point was that it wasn't even ABBA - didn't look like them, they never danced that way, never wore a costume like that, and didn't have music like this. Wrong on every count.
@keisven18 ай бұрын
You don't have to look for their faces to know it's ABBA. Look at the body language. Frida is on the right and Agnetha is on the left. I envy those who have seen ABBA live in the seventies. They know what ABBA really can do. 🙂

Is it just me or the infamous "oh yeah" by Agnetha on Dancing Queen was absent on their 1979-1980 European and North American + Japan Tour? It's ironic how the "oh yeah" by Anegtha was not sung in the 1979-1980 concert tour, but was able to do the infamous B5 belt of "Soul" in Hole Your Soul. Can someone enlighten me why Agnetha didn't sang the said note in the '79 concert? Thanks in advanced!

We can not find anything on the Easybeats or Stevie wright anywhere. We don't get any thing from Australia except for the Bee Gees and the Seeker's. From back in 1960s.😢😢😢 We have missed out on all the best music from Australia.😢😢😢😢
