Im on day 5 of a water fast only water or water with salt I did OMAD 2 days before the fast with a stick of jerky on one day and a boiled egg with celery and saurkraut the next day then went into the fast. I feel ok not at all hungry but weak and brain spacy going to do one more day then break it not sure with what maybe fruit?

I did a 28 day fast once. The first 3 or 4 days were hard. But after that it was so enlightening. I felt amazing. Had so much energy. It lowered my blood pressure. And alleviated alot of ailments. Unfortunately i did gain the weight back because i didnt come up with a plan before ending it. Im researching right now and preparing to try to do another. But end it with a plan next time.

I'm going to break my 3 day fast with animal fat. I'm healing hypothyroidism with carnivore, 9 months in. My body is recalibrating and learns to use my body fat for fuel.

I have juice fasted many times for 40 days, once for 62 days (quit only because I started lifting weights bc my prepaid PT sessions would expire). I lost a lot of weight (down to size 2) and would always gain weight back. I am fasting now mostly on water with occasional small amount of juice (several days with chicken stock) for about 51 days, I just started drinking bone broth. I have lost a lot of weight, I am not going to weigh myself until Nov 6th. I plan to quit after the election. I started Sept 11 and plan to quit after Nov 5th. I have gone from barely fitting into an XL size in tops to size Small. I am not sure what pant size I fit into because I am wearing my baggy size 14 pants. I feel great. I have overcome some health issues including pressure and aches felt in my lower legs and feet. Often, it felt hard to even walk after getting up. I can tolerate heat now. My sinus issues have resolved. This time after my fast, I plan to start with a carnivore diet and lift weights. I will keep the weight off this time. I have read a lot of books on fasting and healing. I think most are not published anymore. Most people only feel hungry the first 2 -3 days when starting, after that one does not feel hungry. After this period of time and during the fast, if one feels a deep sense of hunger then the body is telling the person it needs food, nourishment and the fast should stop. Do Not eat a huge meal after breaking a fast. Start slow, small meals or soup. Something I learned -do not drink anything with sugar in it. I had a terrible, possibly life threatening issue when I thought as long as it was liquid I could drink it and had a milkshake. Do Not hot tub especially in extremely hot water - I went to the ER after I did so while on a pro-long fast. I otherwise felt great and had plenty of energy.

I did a fast and then started the AIP diet to heal my autoimmune issues. I started with two days of juicing celery and carrots to ease into it. Then I did 5 days of just water and then two days of juice and bone broth and then another 5 days of juicing, bone broth and green tea. After the fast I went into the AIP diet which is a very strict elimination diet. I lost 20 pounds within the first month and I felt great. One of the biggest benefits I found was that the fasting got ride of all my cravings so that when I started eating again it was easy to stick to the diet. I highly recommend fasting if you are wanting to make some lasting changes to your diet.

No ma’am yall don’t be following any and everything somebody else doing. Check and make sure you’re healthy enough to be doing whatever. Even when taking supplements, herbs etc make sure you’re ok to do so. 😊😮😊😮😊

The thing that kills me is when they say I know this is why I'm unhealthy and can't go out anymore or why they are bed ridden and they say they know they are gonna die if they don't change. Then they show them having 3 plates overstuffed with junk food. It's sad The main thing is to keep busy physically but most of all mentally whenever u start to think about eating. Immediately start doing something to take your mind off of eating

WOW 16 days fasting 👏 I am aiming for 16 hrs intermittent fasting. Really struggling but still trying everyday. OMAD and no sugar would be the epitome for me. Sugar addiction is real
