I've had this pedal for quite a while and have been having trouble finding 'that' sound I've been looking for and which setting to use. I think you've just cleared it up (no pun intended) on adjusting and controlling the overdrive, at least for me. thanks, awesome video!!!!

The bg1400 or the red devil 🤦
@CollinLittlejohn5 күн бұрын
depends on what you want it to do, BG1400 tele sounds, Red Devil if you want to transform your tele into a different (humbucker} sound

I just installed one of these in my Fender Am Pro 2 Tele, and this big video was a great help to tip in that direction. It chunks while still twanging, and versatility is a big must for my playing. Matched it with a Jazz in the neck, and they pair very well together. Thanks for the video!

That’s a great setup, That neck/bridge combo can be so versatile! Glad the video helped!

I really don’t like the lil 59 and really didn’t care for the stock pickup in my mim tele. I play a lot of country and rock. Everything I’ve found says this will be a hit. You recommend?
@CollinLittlejohn17 күн бұрын
I’ve had great results with it for country and rock. This is the one for that! you’re going to love it!

Awesome demo! I really enjoyed your review of the SD BG 1400 bridge pickup, and am wondering if you, or anyone else here has had the chance to play the custom shop BG 1400 neck pickup? Thanks for any feedback!

I have a Tele Custom with standard single coil bridge and Fender humbucker at the neck I ordered my BG1400 today. Should I change all 4 pots to 500k, or just the bridge pickup? Thanks. I can’t wait to try it out!
@CollinLittlejohn17 күн бұрын
considering the humbucker in the neck, I would go 500k all around but, 250 will definitely work but will just be slightly darker and smoother

Pen spring fixes threaded tremolo arm sloppiness. The set screw trems are nice because of the lack of slop, but can be annoying to remove because of the set screw placement. Tremolo conundrum solved.
