Thank you for making this video! Sounds incredible and great playing! Would love to know what pickup conversion rings you used and how did you mount them under the pickguard? Did you have to do any modifications to adhere them or did you just have to install the rings like you would a normal Strat sized pickup under the pickguard? This would be my dream pickup set but I can't afford a Lari Basilio signature guitar so would need to put it in a super-strat style guitar also. Thanks!

I mounted the conversion rings under the pickguard and screwed the pickups to the rings. I got mine from Stewmac

Great playing and a great set of pickups for sure. I am definitely interested for my Stratocaster. Off topic. Love the three H9s. I used to have three as well, but I switched to two H90's.

Collin, I have a Fender Modern Player Plus Telecaster. It has the standard Lipstick pick up in the neck PU, Strat Style Single Coil middle, and some cheap ill wired Humbucker in the bridge. The controls are two 250k pots Vol & Tone, five way blade switch, and a mini switch for coil taping. The five way switch has failed already, and I just do not like any of the electronics for it. However, I love the playability of the instrument. I’m looking forward to at Lari Basilio set of pickups. I believe it would really take my guitar to a completely different level. Could you share your wiring idea with me. I plan to replace the pots with two high quality 500k ones(considering a push- push switch in one of the pots for the coil taping instead of the current mini switch potentially), and change to a quality 5 way blade switch. Any guidance you could provide would be amazing. Thanks

I this pickups set will be perfect for that guitar! if you want to be able to split the bridge pickup you may want to replace the mini toggle as a push/pull pot may not fit in the tele control cavity if it is not routed deep enough for clearance under the potentiometer. or you could always just commit to the bridge humbucker sound and wire the pickup selector to split the bridge pickup in position 2. hope this helps!

So you used a tele ring to score an outline on your pickguard and modified it with bigger holes?

no, I mounted the conversion rings under the pickguard because the tele neck pickup is slightly smaller in size to a standard strat single coil.

@@CollinLittlejohn wow. that's a very rare guitar. I have a 1995 Korean Samick Valley Arts. Not as rare, but still pretty cool imho. Mine is also routed HSS so I might install the Lari basilio set if i manage to save and buy. Great tones and playing btw.
