You realize how blessed we were to have lived through the 1980’s with so many great Southern Gospel groups …. Gold City, Cathedrals, Kingsmen, Bishops, Easter’s, Hoppers, Talleys, Imperials, Inspirations, Mid-South, Quinton Mills … the list goes on and on.

Also known as Michael English, Ed Hill continuing to be able to work with another of the best singers on Earth after Elvis, and 2 very very very lucky young kids who were just very lucky to be in the room!

Good grief! They done hired 'em a Yankee for this Group? Then again, they had 'em a Cherokee Indian, that was as hilarious and nutty, as the day was long, in Ol' Ivan Parker! I miss these days, that's for sure!

Wonderful! They all sound great! Larry Strickland sounds a cross between JD and Elvis on Peace in the Valley. I like that gentleman on the keys, his keyboard is better than most! I have enjoyed Donnie Sumner! Sing it guys!

I still remember the time, when Ray Dean Reese, the former Bass Singer for the Kingsmen Quartet, had been looking around in his House for something, and came across one of those big Microphones, that you could have 3-4 people gathered around to sing. He used it on their "Shelter" Live Recording, back in 1999. I saw the footage, and it looks like they had a lot of fun, a'singin around that big ole thing!

I used to eat at that restaurant with Big Mama, my great grandmother. The Joyful Noise, as shown on the stage, is the name of this restaurant. They sung happy birthday to me one time up there. I was so embarrassed, but I was a really shy kid.
