Mate, that’s so relatable! I lived in the UK for 8 years and bought my FN2 as a bit of a pick-me-up during a rough patch. I drove it daily over there for almost two years. About a year ago, we decided to move back to Poland, so I brought it with me. But insuring a foreign RHD car here was a nightmare, and the import laws were so complicated that it ended up sitting outside for most of that time. That was a really rough period-lost my job because of my health, ended up with next to no income… I even thought about stripping it for parts at one point. But with my wife's help, we finally managed to cover all the import fees. Just yesterday, I swapped the headlights and added a fog light on the left side. It’s nearly ready for the Polish MOT now, and soon I'll crack on with the registration process. Honestly, I feel like these cars have kept my head above water through some dark times, can't wait to get it back on the road 👍
@FN2OPS27 күн бұрын
@@Donrettep I can’t tell how much I relate to your story. I also brought this with me. But importation fees are 15k+ and because it is a high modified car so no chance to comply with current Portuguese legislation: Some ppl dont get it why didn’t get rid of it. “There s no point having a car if can park se it properly” they say. But she is like part of my family. Went To pick up my son from maternity on it. So I can’t just let her go. Thanks for your story and good luck on having her on the road ❤️

Amazing video, mate! Now, all of us with FN2s truly appreciate the value of this car and how special and efficient it is. Previously, it was hard to believe, despite knowing it ourselves, due to all the negative comments from critics who only pointed out that the FN2 has just one more horsepower than the EP3. However, after the adjustments to the engine and suspension, it's time for bucket seats to hit the tracks and show everyone how amazing and fast this car truly is. I'm also planning to install the Recaro Pole Position seats, but my only concern is whether the seat will sit lower than the OEM seat. Did you find your seat positioned lower?
@FN2OPS4 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I believe the FN2 is a hidden gem with lots of potential tbh. You should be fine with the pole positions. They are brilliand. Seat position will be a td lower but nothing major tbh

Hi mate.I have seen your previous video with the ducts and I was intrigued to think a similar thing for my fn2.With the first glance I thought that the mugen ducts will not work properly because of the curves they have and the spot you have to open the hole on the panel .And now that I watched this video I thought that I was right about it.Ofcourse the air mass will be different when driving but I think their design is not proper.Imo the right solution is a straight duct.I had started to make a research for making one next to the fog lights,behind of the bumper plastic net that will go straight in at an angle and make a hole at a different spot on the panel and put it in front and a little bit diagonal from the caliper but due to my big amount of work in the office and my newborn son I have left it a bit behind.Now for the stickers, I run Spoon calipers with dba discs that they have some colour stripes on them that they change accordingly how hot they get.I haven’t tracked my car yet to give a feedback about it but I think they are ideal for track days as you can monitor the temperature that way.Keep up the good work and expecting more videos!
@FN2OPS4 ай бұрын
@@jimmyk7626 thanks for the feedback man. I agree is not the best design. Although there are no much options because you will face an obstacle on the radiator support. So the tubing will need to go under that. You can run it on the fog lights place BUT on the drivers side you have the washers bottle blocking 😅😅😅
