I seen his stuff alot in Milwaukee wi during my younger tagging days. I always found his little cow boy character super cool and unique. Years later in high school I seen a section about this guy in a buddy’s book about graffiti artists. It was super cool being able to put a face and story to the tagger with the smoking cow boy. A David Ruffin interview with Eddie Kendricks on the internet is supreme. If I had the link, I'd share it here. However, it's a short video where they are being interviewed, sitting close by, intimate, side to side. To appreciate the artistry of David Ruffin as a singer, you must see it. In the video, by giving a singing sample, Ruffin demonstrates the difference between how singing is done by the mainstream and how it's done by gospel and rhythm, blues, and soul singers like himself. Check it out if you find it. I'll check back with you to learn if it was worth the effort for you. In the meantime, I'll see if I can locate it again myself. Thanks for sharing the video. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/r52yYYh4Z6ugn9E: The time of the demonstration in the video to which I am referring you here is 3:00)

How tall was this man, dam! He and James Brown used to beat up Tammi Terrell, that's how she got those brain tumours. Saw that on the documentary. They said James Brown threw Tammi down a flight of stairs and David beat her in head with his motorcycle helmet..

Nah, I'm good! I was wrong in the past loving wrong men, even had my only child with a very wrong man. I want to be right with right man. At least I not married yet, so I am not stuck in wrong marriage since I cannot divorce due to my morals. And cannot want to be divorced by being single as long as the guy is still alive. Am 46.
