My husband Nicolas worked there in approximately 1979-1982 before migrating to the USA. It was a plant for DuPont. The plant buildings are on the left. The building with orange roof beams was a school. Families lived there, over 1K people worked there. The buildings by red truck were homes for the engineers. Farther to the right are those small homes and one was a store called “La Tinaja” with Don Pedrito. He’d have beers in barrels of water and would cool them by spraying them with propane gas. Many people from our hometown, Múzquiz Coahuila and various parts of Mexico worked there.

Mike, Sorry, I don’t do much of the social media thing. Please email me if you can. [email protected] I just added this to your award video: I can tell you all after knowing Mike for decades, he is awesome. As an up and coming IT guy, he changed my life. I will never forget him. He is my mentor and inspiration. I owe him so much. -James “Zeke” Blackwell

Mike Gras James “Zeke” Blackwell here. I so look forward to your videos. You should do a show called “Adventures with Mike”. I know I miss them. You are so interesting and full of knowledge that you must share. LBMs for the win.

@@CreachterZ thanks, I appreciate your interest. Having a few health issues but definitely plan to be back out there.
I saw people stripping roofing material from homes, so must be pretty close to abandoned.
